Some might say that Russia’s diplomatic outreach has gone all “walking dead,” given the increasing friction between the US and the former superpower.

Russian speaker of the State Duma, or lower house of representatives, accused the United States of plotting “provocations” against Russia in an article published Monday in the Russian government newspaper Rossiiskaya Gazeta.
