David Hirsch, a.k.a. Dave "Doctor" Gonzo*, is a renegade record producer, video producer, writer, reformed corporate shill, and still-registered lobbyist for non-one-percenter performing artists and musicians. He lives in a heavily fortified compound in one of Manhattan's less trendy neighborhoods.

* Hirsch is the third person to use the pseudonym, a not-so-veiled tribute to journalist and author Hunter S. Thompson, with the permission of his predecessors Gene Gaudette of American Politics Journal (currently webmaster and chief bottlewasher at Liberaland) and Stephen Meese at Smashmouth Politics.

Quite the contrast with Ted Cruz, who tried to come across as über-polished but instead reminded me of a game show host.

I want to see Senator Sanders run, and debate Hillary Clinton. Progressives such as Senators Sanders and Warren are needed to push Hillary Clinton further left and force her, kicking and screaming to be the staunch progressive that this country must have stay a Democracy.
We need her to stand up for the poor and middle class, without Senator Sanders and speeches by Senator Warren she may slide back to being a shill for the banksters and the big money lobbies.
Would I really like Bernie Sanders to be president? Yes, of course, I would, but realistically he is too old. He is 76, now, and by 2017 when he might be inaugurated, he would turn 78, and that would make him 82 after four years and 86 if he could win a second term. Sadly, as good as his ideas are, his age is against him and he has to push former Senator Clinton to take up his mantle.

7 or 8 years ago I made a fan club page for Bernie Sanders on Fan Pop, it has now been taken down and I guess I can see why, the Party Of Stupid would just vandalize it.

Finally I will have someone to vote FOR and not just be forced to chose the lesser of 2 evils. It sure feels good!
