Young Earth Creationist Defends Josh Duggar And Blames Evolutionists

Posted by | May 25, 2015 22:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Religion

Eric Hovind wrote, “Why I Love Josh Duggar.” First, Hovind says:

He took responsibility, his family took responsibility, he sought forgiveness, and reported it to the authorities.

Uh, no:

According to the In Touch Weekly report, the only “authority” that the alleged incidents were reported to was an Arkansas state trooper in 2003 who didn’t press charges, but gave Josh a “stern” talk.

When Springdale, Arkansas, police were notified in 2006 about the 2002-2003 allegations, Jim Bob Duggar, Josh’s father, reportedly refused to allow the police to interview Josh. The police didn’t believe that “no further charges were necessary” in 2006, but rather the state’s statute of limitations, three years, had expired, noted In Touch Weekly.

Yet, Hovind writes:

…when a Christian admits his sin, goes to the proper authorities, pays the penalty, repents of his actions, is up front and honest with the world, and has made things right with the victims, he has done exactly what God has commanded him to do.

Yet, somehow, the bad guys here are evolutionists:

If evolution is true, then there is no absolute right and wrong. If evolution is true Josh should not have admitted his faults over a decade ago because what one evolved bag of molecules does to another bag of molecules just doesn’t really matter. If evolution is true there is no ultimate Judge on the bench who will hold every man, woman, and child responsible for their actions. And if evolution is true you will not give an account for every idle word you speak.

    Idiot

Ironically, these creationist clowns provide evidence that not all humans have evolved into beings with higher-level thinking skills.

There is no absolute right and wrong, so I guess that means evolution wins!

Just because you don’t believe in a father figure mandating moral behavior or facing eternal tormenting punishment, doesn’t mean you don’t believe in right and wrong… for its own sake, not because you are afraid of an eternal whipping.

As if the ‘morals’ handed down by this imaginary father figure are all that great. The murder, mayhem, and ignorance in the father figures writings are nothing to brag about, not that that stops true believers from doing so.
The bible supports slavery, polygamy, child abuse, rape marriage, killing those who disagree with you. I know better that that without a ‘father’ figure watching every move.

Evolutionist are not giving the perverted child molester a free pass because he ‘says the secret word’ like a 1950’s TV game show.

      That’s a great point!

If atheists/evolutionists can call BS on Duggar, what makes you believe such things don’t matter to them,… when they obviously do?

  5. Kick Frenzy May 26th, 2015 at 00:54

Sorry, Mr. Hovind, but evolution doesn’t excuse evil behavior.

I know you may think that without Christianity that people have no guiding moral compass, but the reality is that all humans have a moral compass.
Regardless of a belief system or a lack of one, there are basic truths that humans hold to… like murder is bad, cheating on your SO is bad, molesting children is bad.
Nobody needs religion to tell them these things.

Even an atheist knows that molesting children is wrong.
    You dumb f*k.

A moral compass is directly related to evolution, it evolved to preserve the species

And it has nothing to do with any god.

I wonder where these idiots would be if this was the actions of Bill Clinton or even worse, Barrack Obama.

    • StoneyCurtisll May 26th, 2015 at 12:09

      Exactly~!

Well hey, didnt they keep referring to monica Lewinsky as a child when she was 21 or 22? The right wing is unbelievable. But hey, the reason the media wont go after them is because they’re on the same team. You ever notice why everybody attacks msnbc, but they give fox news a free pass for doing the same thing? They all have aspirations of working at fox.

  8. Larry Schmitt May 26th, 2015 at 08:32

I don’t see any connection in this case to evolution. And I’m pretty sure that most people would agree that having sex with children is an absolute wrong.

    • frambley1 May 27th, 2015 at 02:45

As an atheist, I have to agree. Wait, where could I possibly have any idea what is right and wrong? Thank goodness I have this guy huckabee and the duggars to tell me.

  9. Bunya May 26th, 2015 at 15:27

This poor fool is misguided. Imagine blaming the evolutionists, when everyone knows that Obama is responsible for Josh Duggar’s “lapse in judgment”.

  10. StoneyCurtisll May 26th, 2015 at 18:07

Why do they not tell the truth about Josh Dugger…
    We all know that SATAN~!
    Made him do it…;)

  11. AnthonyLook May 26th, 2015 at 18:55

If creationism is true- lies from the lips of these fake christians would flow like waterfalls.

  12. Foundryman May 26th, 2015 at 22:51

If creationism is true, then what Duggar did would be normal everyday behavior. Incest would not only be normal, but expected. Just like Adam and Eve, how else did they populate the world?

These fundie cretins live in their own little universe. A scary, hate-filled, hypocritical, unworkable universe.
