Anne Graham Lotz: ‘I Will Live To See The Return Of Jesus’

Posted by | May 19, 2015 15:00 | Filed under: Religion

Billy Graham’s daughter, Anne Graham Lotz, says she is likely to live long enough to see the return of Jesus.

“The signs that Jesus gives, whether it is in the environmental world, or the national world, the wars and rumors of wars, or the persecution of Christians, the persecution of Jews,” Lotz said, “when we see that ratcheting up, increasing in frequency and intensity in the same generation that sees the Gospel being preached to the whole world and Israel reborn are a nation, that’s the generation that’s the last.”

“I believe, with deep conviction, that it’s my generation,” she continued. “I believe that in my lifetime, if I live out my lifetime, a natural lifetime, I believe I will live to see the return of Jesus in the Rapture when he comes back to take us to be with himself. Which means, preceding that, there are going to be some signs, there are going to be some warnings.”

Have to give Billy credit…he produced a whole flock of loons

    • causeican May 19th, 2015 at 16:32

      Money-grubbing loons.

    • ohpaleasegivemeabreak May 20th, 2015 at 07:54

Yes-I agree with causeican – it’s all about the money with his looney offspring.

That trash son of his couldn’t make it on his worthless useless own so he came back to pretend he’s a nice guy and rake in the big bucks.

      Slime

Self delusional at best. Jesus is NOT coming back. He lied about that.

“if I live out my lifetime, a natural lifetime,” Got news for you lady, if you drop dead today, that’s your lifetime, your natural lifetime.

Meh, sure. I mean I lived to see the return of Optimus Prime so I figure your hero might show too.

  5. Bunya May 19th, 2015 at 17:03

LOL! People from all generations, for 2000 years, have said the second coming is going to happen in their lifetime. It’s too bad that, when she’s dead, we can’t say, “I told you so”.

    Um…ok

    • Larry Schmitt May 19th, 2015 at 17:24

The difference is, the cows ain’t askin for it.

At one point in the Gospels Jesus tells a room full of people, people standing right in front of him, that some of them will still be alive when he returns — that’s how fast he was coming back.

    • Larry Schmitt May 19th, 2015 at 17:57

You mean there are actually some 2,000 year old men around?

      • William May 19th, 2015 at 18:22

        Yep..
The Rolling Stones and this guy

        • Larry Schmitt May 19th, 2015 at 18:23

Keith Richards has to be at least 3,000.

          • William May 19th, 2015 at 18:56

He’s like a cockroach. After the nuclear holocaust, there will be roaches and Keith.

Seeing Jesus in her lifetime not likely. More likely she’ll be turned into a pillar of salt. lol

Damn, I hope the rapture comes and gets these theocrat haters off this planet, we will be better off

    • ohpaleasegivemeabreak May 20th, 2015 at 07:55

      Won’t it be nice?

I, personally, have my eye on a nice little manse that one of those pretend holy pure people say will be left behind to filth like me when they are taken into Gawd’s ‘loving’ (yet massively violent and hateful) arms.

She obviously is oblivious to the long and checkered history of people absolutely convinced that they were in the End Times.

Con men have used and abused gullible people for centuries; in fact, ever since Jesus’ time. It’s the height of vanity to think everything revolves around you.

Fun fact: there is no reference to the “Rapture” in the book of Revelation. It came about in 1830.

    • fahvel May 20th, 2015 at 03:17

sadly, she was was conned by her own father. Please don’t tell me billy g. was the good one – just of another generation but still a loon.

I grew up with this stuff and people were saying this stuff back in 1956. It always just gets refreshed to fit the times. A lot of people mouthing this stuff have never researched the history of it. It has only been since the mid 1800’s that this stuff has been a tenant of some Christian belief. I wish Ms Lotz a long life- but it’s not gonna happen, lady. Stop wasting your life on this stuff- do something to better your world. Jesus is not going to come riding in like the Lone Ranger and save humanity from the mess they have created, that’s our job.

    • pignose4.0 May 19th, 2015 at 21:49

They were saying it way back in 400.

  13. Robert Kennedy May 19th, 2015 at 20:12

I don’t think even Methusaleh who was supposedly over 900 years old (although the way they counted those days was a month was a year) ever lived that long, and you look like you’re nearly dead already.

  14. Budda May 19th, 2015 at 21:31

Wanna bet Anne? I’ll give you 1000 to 1 odds

    • pignose4.0 May 19th, 2015 at 21:48

      Good luck collecting the dept.

  15. katkelly57 May 19th, 2015 at 23:57

Church Lady says, “Isn’t that special!”
    While Madea says, “Hallalewyer!”

What if Jesus does not want to see her?
    Hah!

    • Dwendt44 May 20th, 2015 at 00:05

Could be. Jesus did come to earth to save the gentile, the Pagan, the Roman, or the heathen, he came for the Jews only.

  16. David Ish May 20th, 2015 at 05:35

Only god knows the time it (the end times) happens Jesus Christ

  17. arc99 May 20th, 2015 at 11:18

When he comes back looking just as he did 2,000 years ago, more like Yassir Arafat than Dolf Lungren, what in the world will she do then?

  18. AnthonyLook May 20th, 2015 at 13:48

Hopefully it will be a long, long life. When her time comes, I will send a wreath with the words-“I was WRONG and nothing but a fear mongering fascist theocrat”.

I’ll take that bet! I’ll bet all the money I have in the bank against all the money she has in the bank that “her” interpretation of “Jesus” will not appear here before the instant that she has ceased to breath!
