Conservatives Attack Pope
The right-wing is having a very difficult time with Pope Francis’s ecumenical approach to life.
After Pope Francis moved to recognize a Palestinian state, some gung-ho defenders of Israel suggested the pontiff should stick to preaching and stay out of politics.
“It’s interesting how the Vatican has gotten so political when ultimately the Vatican ought to be working to lead people to Jesus Christ and salvation, and that’s what the Church is supposed to do,” said Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.), a hawkish defender of Israel…
“I’m surprised that the pope would recognize Palestine when they’re still haters who want to eliminate Israel off the map and don’t recognize Israel,” said Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), a member of the Israel Allies Caucus. “The Pope is the head of his religion, and he makes those calls for himself, but I represent 700,000 people from East Texas and a vast majority agree with me.”
Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), who co-chairs the caucus, was even bolder, calling the pontiff’s position into question on Biblical grounds.
“He’s a religious figure and he has every right to have his political viewpoint, but someone of that profile should have strong scriptural foundation for whatever positions he takes that are extensively representing the head of the Catholic Church,” Franks said. “I think this is probably one he should not have expressed.”

So is renewable energy, especially in the long game.
And trade agreements, selling technology, and so on.
We’re rapidly approaching a time when we won’t have a choice, we’ll need to use renewable sources.
China needs to reduce their pollution by an extreme amount in a very short time… there’s a lot of money to made in the middle of that.
But if you’re talking about Cheney, his dark soul gets off on war and destruction… so, for him it’s more than money.

That’s what makes money in peace.
Energy, trade, tech, infrastructure… plus the handling and cleaning of pollution will be a significantly bigger business before long as well.
Not to mention who’s going to do the cool stuff?
Like, whose going to build a way to collect our garbage and send it hurtling into the Sun?
There could be money in that.
But really, I’m just saying, I know “war is money” is an old saying, I’m just saying with a little creativity, peacetime can be profitable too.

peace time can be profitable. but, the rwnj’s won’t have any of that. when was the last time you heard any of them talk about peace? they do talk about bombing and killing and war this and war that. and you don’t have to be sorry.

Okay, you represent a fraction of your population (because 700,000 people did not vote for you) of Texas. We all read the news and know the types of people who live there (except Mea-Mark and a few others of course) such as OCT and that dildo in fedora.
