Nader: Hillary ‘Announced…As A Wimp’

Posted by | April 17, 2015 10:30 | Filed under: Politics Radio Interviews

Ralph Nader told me Hillary Clinton wasn’t bold enough in her presidential announcement.

NADER: She blew the one of three opportunities to reach the whole country that a Presidential candidate has: The announcement, the primary win, and the speech to the convention of the party. And she blew it by this social media, by this tepid type, contrived video.
COLMES: So you’re saying she should have announced differently?
NADER: She should have announced with a platform, this is her second run, she ought to know what she believes in. She’s a corportist, a miliatrist, doesn’t want to upset Wall Street…
COLMES: So she should have had more specific policy ideas when she announced is what you’re saying?
NADER: Yeah, she could have announced as a leader instead of a wimp. You know with a van, maybe she was dialing for dollars as the van was heading to Iowa. Does she think the American people are fools? It’s just another rerun of the Clinton con job on the American people. We need new entries, new candidates, not just former Senators or Governors. We need people from all over the country, we need to open it up, competition is good.
COLMES: Did you call Hillary Clinton a wimp?
NADER: Her announcement was wimpy.

Go to hell, Ralph. The last time anyone took your advice or really listened to you we got the Bush II years and all the horrors that went with it. And thanks for being a racist prick when it came to Obama–“Uncle Sam vs. Uncle Tom”–seriously? I wonder, when was the last time you really went after the GOP? Is Rand Paul your preferred candidate for 2016?

Ralph wore out his welcome a long time ago.

  2. eyelashviper April 17th, 2015 at 13:29

Wow, his critique is nearly as pathetic as that of Fox news pundits.
Ralph, in case you are totally unaware, your gravitas expired long ago.

  3. NW10 April 17th, 2015 at 13:48

Seriously Ralph Nader, f**k you! You had an opportunity to work with Al Gore in 2000 and establish the Greens permanently on the ballot, but you dissed him and helped give us eight years of George W. Bush. Bugger off!

  4. Jake April 17th, 2015 at 15:11

Ladies and gentleman – the ego has landed.

  5. rg9rts April 17th, 2015 at 15:51

Ralph go crawl back under your rock YOU caused enough harm to this country already.. POS

  6. Jerry Angel April 17th, 2015 at 17:28

Ralph Nader who said there was no difference between Al Gore and George W Bush. Moron. Thanks to you and your naive supporters in 2000, out country invaded and occupied Iraq, something Al Gore would never have considered. The blood of our brave soldiers and tens of thousands of innocent Iraq’s (babies, children, the elderly) are on your hands and your supporters hands (especially those who voted for you in Florida)

-and the oopsie vote count that allowed the election to be stolen by the CON stacked SCOTUS ( turning out to be a whooper of a LIE) allowing them to SELECT POTUS GW EVEN against the will of the people!

      – that alone should invalidate the RepubliCON Fascist Party as ever being a legitimate political party for the American people to chose from.

  7. fancypants April 17th, 2015 at 18:01

somewhere between the chevy corvair and today Nader has lost my interest
maybe its his ability to tell the truth ?

    • granpa.usthai April 18th, 2015 at 08:39

when you’re as big a loser as he’s turned out to be, ya just have to blame the winners for your loss I guess?

  8. Hirightnow April 17th, 2015 at 18:40

    Mr. Excitement himself speaks!
What happened? Is another Bush running?

  9. John Tarter April 17th, 2015 at 19:26

From the responses here it looks like you folks just can’t deal with the truth. Just look at her in Chipotle. If it had been Der Schlickmeister (husband Billy), he would have been all over that place, shaking hands, slapping folks on the back, schmoozing the potential voters. Hillary, not a word – nothing but dark sunglasses and in and out.

On another note, a bunch of students at the University of Washington were asked why they would vote for Hillary. “Because she’s a woman” was the common refrain. Here we go again, young heads full of mush supporting the celebrity candidate.

    • Scopedog April 17th, 2015 at 21:20

“Here we go again, young heads full of mush supporting the celebrity candidate.”

      Fits Rand Paul’s supporters to a T.

Oh, and you’re still an idiot.

David Frum said, “Republicans have been Fleeced, Exploited And Lied To’ by a Conservative Entertainment Complex”

As opposed to people who voted for McCain/Palin because they were not black, or because Palin was “hot” or because Obama was an Arab?

      As opposed to;

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bzvm7zd4Z-s

Videos put out by conservative activist groups like Campus Reform is why David
Frum said, “Republicans have been Fleeced, Exploited And Lied To’ by a Conservative Entertainment Complex”

What the right has done over the last 25 years is to search for a few of these things that are common to ALL sides, exaggerate and edit, and present the “data” as if something that represents 1% is 90%.
That’s why they thought Romney was going to win in a landslide, and why so many now think they were so wrong about Sarah Palin.

My Tigress’s name is Hillary (we call her Hil -which sounds like Bill -as in a very successful POTUS that dug the USA out from under the Reagan VOODOO trickle down Economically induced rolling Depression) which is like a sign to NEVER EVER offer comfort, aid or support to the RepubliCONs.

        and I get it too.

the FDA should definitely do another study on the effects of silicone injections!

like the CONs won’t vote for a candidate who doesn’t have anything?

      other than: they’re republiCON?

    • tracey marie April 18th, 2015 at 20:30

    • fancypants April 19th, 2015 at 21:38

      Have another drink…..

  10. Ricky C. April 17th, 2015 at 21:46

    Hillary lost once already,
why would she embarrass her self again? She’s not Bill by a long shot. And Bill wants her to be prez so he can stalk some more interns.

    • granpa.usthai April 18th, 2015 at 08:35

Hillary lost the nomination in 2008 because of voters like myself that saw a better rebound from the impending GREATER REPUBLICAN ECONOMIC DEPRESSION with POTUS Obama -due specifically to his PROMISED policies (not so much his EXCELLENT Maui Hawaiian Tan) that have and are being fulfilled eg: “if you attempt to do harm to the peoples of the USA, WE will hunt you down and kill you” – “main street is as important to America as wall street” – “the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will be ended” – etc., etc, etc. – with an immigration policy much more restrictive than GW’s, the ending of financing Cons offshore ‘war profit’ banking deposits and the temporary loans to big businesses like GM that have helped to replenish the national treasury that RepubliCONs raid for offshore bank deposits, America is on the rebound. ALL the CONs have offered so far is an immediate return to where GW left off with the utter destruction of the USA from within.

Hillary has made that her number one strategy to prevent and it will be prevented if RepubliCONs are never ever allowed back into the White House.

      • Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 11:15

You’re right, Hillary lost because the people didn’t trust her to hold the highest office in the land. A virtually unknown Senator beat her like a rented mule. Guess she’s a sucker for punishment.

        • tracey marie April 18th, 2015 at 20:29

You teababblers do know what being beat like a rented mule feels like

          • whatthe46 April 18th, 2015 at 20:57

TWICE!!! and by the man with the Maui Hawaiian Tan no less. and still getting beat like a rented mule.

          • Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 22:03

            You people are too funny.

            • tracey marie April 18th, 2015 at 22:11

What people, females, intelligent? I know teababblers are just jealous tools

              • Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 22:37

The name callers, the intolerant. Remind you of anyone? If you’ll read my comments you’ll see that I have negative comments about the left and the right, so calling me a tea bagger is not quiet accurate.

        • fancypants April 19th, 2015 at 21:35

          nobody beat nobody
the people decided who they wanted

  11. Warman1138 April 18th, 2015 at 07:41

Hey! Welcome back Mr. Spoiler. Is it time to f#$% up another election so you can pretend you are important and relevant? Somebody give this fool a ride home.

  12. granpa.usthai April 18th, 2015 at 08:02

not bold enough for you, Ralph?

so – who you got in mind…

    Ms. Lindsey from SC?

  13. Pinkamena Diane Pie April 18th, 2015 at 16:53

And people care what Bush-kisser racist right-winger Nader says… why?

  14. Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 19:24

I see one of my comments was deleted, must have stepped on someone’s toes. So much for tolerance and free speech from the intolerant liberals.

    • tracey marie April 18th, 2015 at 20:28

stop being a whiny tittie baby troll

    • Obewon April 18th, 2015 at 22:39

You’re trolling towards the door, on your way back to Teabaggisatan fantasyland.

      • Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 22:47

So if I don’t agree 100% with everything that people on here say, I get banned? I like to read and hear comments from both sides, I want to learn what all people think. But if I get banned, I get banned. You’ll just be proving what the right says about you.

        • Obewon April 18th, 2015 at 22:48

Your comment was deleted because you’re an uninformed jackass.

          • Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 22:53

Like I said earlier, you people are funny. You people that don’t want to hear an opinion about something if you don’t agree with it. Small world you live in.

            • Obewon April 18th, 2015 at 23:01

How dim are you? Dems had two great candidates in 2008. The best candidate won TWICE. Hillary is the best candidate today. HRC leads by a landslide and repubs still have nobody that can win a majority.

              • Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 23:16

That is your opinion, that is many people’s opinions. I’ve said all along to many people before Hillary announced that if she did run, she would be the next president, and unless the Republicans run someone that is not yet announced, I still say she will be our next president. I don’t have to agree with everything everyone says to be able to post on here, do I? If you only want to hear 1 side, how do you learn, where’s the fun in that? I commented today that Huckabee shouldn’t run just to feed his ego. He didn’t make it last time and if he tries again, it will be the same result. But please, ban me if you have to. I like to hear more than one persons opinion on things, but whatever happens, happens.

                • Obewon April 18th, 2015 at 23:30

Fact: Clinton 53% Vs Jeb 41%.
ABC News/Washington Post Poll. March 26-29, 2015. Adults nationwide. Registered voters. Margin of error ± 4%.

Vs. “your opinion” is hiding from the reality that you were so easily debunked by the above. Or via any other poll, sans FNC.

                • Mike April 18th, 2015 at 23:32

Man up…what kind of whiner troll are you…??? If you’re gonna go trollin you have to expect a few comments will get deleted.
Red State hasn’t let me post in a month and I gave up trollin FOX cause it was just an asylum with no staff (and they changed their cookie policy)

I haven’t seen anyone banned from this site yet…deleted comments yes (a few of my own) But coming here and labeling everyone “…you people..” , telling us what a small world we live in (while we complain about small minds like yours) and accusing the site of banning you when they didn’t is some sort of twisted playing the victim before the injury

                  • Ricky C. April 18th, 2015 at 23:46

Never said they banned me, said if they wanted to, then go ahead.

                    • Mike April 19th, 2015 at 00:19

White whine instead of red is supposed to make a difference…?
My granddaughter is a bigger internet bully than Obewon.
                      What a wuss…

tolerant usually accompanies one or all three
      1) truth
      2) facts
      3) eye witnesses
      try it sometime ….
