NASA: We’ll Find Alien Life In 10-20 Years

Top NASA scientists say we’re not alone, and we’ll know soon for sure.

“I believe we are going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth in the next decade and definitive evidence in the next 10 to 20 years,” Ellen Stofan, chief scientist for NASA, said at a public panel Tuesday in Washington.

“We know where to look, we know how to look, and in most cases we have the technology,” she said.

Jeffery Newmark, interim director of heliophysics at the agency put it this way: “It’s definitely not an if, it’s a when.”

However, if visions of alien invasions are dancing in your head, you can let those go.

“We are not talking about little green men,” Stofan said. “We are talking about little microbes.”

With our luck, they will have all kinds of cures we could use but the first human they meet is either plain or cry and they never come back.

We already are living with some of their alien species and they are mean-spirited, vicious, subhuman, heartless and brainless, they are:
    – GOP
    – Right-wing-Christians
    – Conservatives

They all look and act the same but they are quite different, but with certain similar characteristics/traits:
    – GOP: mean-spirited, vicious, subhuman, heartless and brainless.
    – Right-wing-Christians: heartless, brainless, mean-spirited, vicious and subhuman.
    – Conservatives: vicious, subhuman, mean-spirited, brainless and heartless.

Only their parents can tell the difference.

I can narrow the search…start with the congressional delegation from Texas

Argggh. So it’s pile on Texas day? Louie Gohmert does have an extraterrestrial look about him and Ted Cruz definitely lives in another universe but I still think there’s a few states more alien to humanity.

Don’t worry, I bet Kansas will come to our rescue soon enough, they really do want to be the worse state.

Or maybe they will find us. But it won’t be 10-20 years. It will be more like 48 years.

First contact with the Vulcans happens in April 2063. I saw it on Star Trek so I know it is true.

This is not the way science is supposed to work. You don’t announce the results of an experiment before conducting the research. All this announcement does is create pressure on the scientists to “find” microbes, whether or not they actually exist. I suspect that a lot of NASA scientists cringed when they heard this announcement. It undermines public confidence in the impartiality of the scientific community.

terrified to even consider life forms so far beyond the scope of homo sapiens that even aliens are being reduced to microbes. Gene Rodenberry knew this crap decades ago.
