It looks as if a Netanyahu loss in Israel’s national election is getting nu-Clear.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused ‘Scandinavian governments’ of spending millions of dollars on a campaign to remove him from power, as the Middle Eastern country prepares for elections next week.

In an interview with an Israeli radio station, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said he believed that Nordic politicians did not want him to remain in office.

“Scandinavian governments have spent millions of dollars on a campaign to remove me from power,” he said on the station Kol Israel.

“Western governments, but mostly Scandinavian…They know perfectly well why they prefer Buji and Livni to me,” he added, referring to his opponents.

He says it as if it’s a bad thing!

As head of the right-wing Likud party, Netanyahu faces a tough challenge from the centre and left in Israel’s March 17th elections.

In a separate interview with Rega Radio he was reported to have said that “foreign governments, specifically Scandinavians, are part of a worldwide campaign to topple me”, according to a translation posted on Twitter by Israeli blogger and journalist Tal Schneider.

It’s surprising that Bibi hasn’t blamed Obama instead! The GOP will be very disappointed and feel cheated, so moch so that they might dis-invite him to speak in US Congress… oops, too late![su_fb]

    Here is a direct link to the article from an English language Swedish newspaper.

    Apparently, Bibi is ticked off that Sweden has formally recognized a state of Palestine.

    So if Netanyahu loses on Tuesday it is all due to a vast international left wing conspiracy. Next step of course will be to demand the birth certificate of the new Israeli Prime Minister.

      would it be OK if they used their fake Hawaiian short form birth certificate? the long ones would just consume more time, and probably result in a rush job that would eventually expose an error that when located would prove it’s been altered.

    PM Netanyahu comes to the USA pandering – pleading – begging for drunken adulterers to be his friend, but it’s the world wide conspiracy funded by the Scandinavians that’s trying to ‘topple’ him from power?
    why not consider your ‘friends’, Mr. PM?
    after all, if they’d lie to their lifelong spouse when totally soused, it would occur to a sober person that they might just LIE to someone they don’t particularly agree with on their religious beliefs? Like maybe, what if most Israelis don’t want a long protracted dragged out hundred year military engagement (a declared war would mean they would have to use all available resources to WIN) costing them 10’s of thousands of lives just so RepubliCONs can have regular deposits to their Dubai offshore unregulated bank accounts? Then, their investments made in you would all be for naught-so, why chance it?
    Nothing personal Mr. PM – just business.

    those damned scandies – why they want to control the entire mid east is boyond me – they don’t even have the bomb, I think – but imagine the snow storms they could contribute to the isreali beaches or maybe I shpould just stop right now – :-)

    Scandinavia? Really? That’s sooooo unbelievable. I mean, I’d think maybe he’d try to blame Saudia Arabia, the US or Syria. But Scandinavia? C’mon.
