Thank you, Obama.

Unemployment fell in every state and the nation’s capital last year—something that hadn’t happened since 1984.

The broad decline, revealed in a Labor Department report Wednesday, offers the latest sign the labor market recovery kicked into a higher gear in 2014. The declines varied broadly.

Unemployment fell the most in Illinois, where the rate dropped 2 percentage points from the prior year to an average 7.1%. The rate declined by 1.8 points in Colorado, North Carolina and Ohio.

North Dakota, at the center of the nation’s energy boom of the past few years, had the lowest jobless rate of any state at 2.8% last year.

    They say the unemployment numbers are down…but I’m sure Obama’s cooking the books…again…for his run for a third term. Right after he grabs you guns. And forces you to convert to Islam. And forces your children into gay marriages that YOU have to pay for.

      Get with the program. No need to run for a third term. Can’t he just write another executive order? We get another 4 years of President Obama, and we pi$$ off right-wingers. It is truly a win-win scenario.

        I am absolutely convinced that the President is completely confident in his accomplishments and legacy. Now he’s just spending some of his leisure time having a little fun essentially f*cking with the GOP.

    The fun thing about these stats is for over 6 years now, month in and month out when the rate has dropped, Limbaugh, Hannity,* LeVin, Savage and the rest have, without fail, informed their viewers each time that the rate has ACTUALLY gone up.
    The listeners are too dumb to ever do the math because by now it would mean we have about a 6,000 percent unemployment rate AND RISING!
    And when the official rate did go up, without fail they inform their listeners that it is the onset of another recession….
