    One of my favorite bloggers, filmmaker Marina Gipps, calls Mitt “Lyle Waggoner with a lobotomy.”

        My mom loved Carol Burnett and thought Lyle was the cutest thing…Damn, we’re old.

      Mitt is actually pretty smart, for a Republican.
      I realize that this is not saying very much.

      One sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. Mitt running again would qualify.

      But so would electing any Republican, since they haven’t had a new idea in decades. Tax cuts to the rich has proved to be spectacularly bad economic policy, but they’re unable to come up with anything else.
