Holder: US Will Host Summit On Fighting ‘Violent Extremism’
The United States will host a summit on February 18 on how to fight “violent extremism around the world” in the wake of the Paris attacks, US Attorney General Eric Holder said Sunday.
Speaking in the French capital after a meeting with European security ministers following this week’s Islamist militant attacks, Holder said the meeting would take place in Washington DC under the auspices of President Barack Obama.
“The United States is planning on holding a summit meeting on February the 18th in Washington DC to be conducted by the White House,” he said.
The gathering will “bring together all of our allies to discuss ways in which we can counteract this violent extremism that exists around the world,” Holder said.

Interesting how when a small act of insane violence the world recoils in justified horror but when the usa, russia and china commit monster acts they are discussed in the united nations as common affronts.

This is a great start, we as a global community need to stand together against violence, whomever is the culprit.

That’s the key, “stand together against violence.”
Radicalization of young people takes root when they feel disenfranchised, criminalized, neglected and left behind by the state. And the truth is, as we’ve seen in places like Ferguson MO, those feelings are not altogether invalid. Extremism flourishes with injustice, corruption and perpetual poverty. Like GOPers, political and ideological extremists exploit social ills to their evil ends.
I am convinced our best defense is to live-up to universal principals of peace and justice here at home and abroad.

What good is this going to do? What we need is a real president to invade Tuvalu, and get those WMD’s. Jeb Bush 2016

I don’t know how that’s going to happen when we have the GOP Keeps instigating terror in their “war on terror”.

This is like Jeffrey Dahmer holding a talk on avoiding sexual dysfunction.
The US should be totally pwned by the other countries for creating “this violent extremism that exists around the world”.
