NRA Supporters Launch Vicious, Misogynistic Twitter Attack On Gun Reform Leader
When Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, was blocked by the NRA on Twitter yesterday, she tweeted it. It shall come as a surprise to no one ever that that was met with a slew of vicious misogynistic remarks by NRA supporters.
The mother of 5 frightens them that much. She’s a beautiful and intelligent woman, so naturally, she’s a threat.
It started with this tweet.
Naturally, that innocuous tweet became a platform to attack the Gun Sense advocate by NRA supporters. The hashtag #ImBlockedByShannonWatts started trending on Twitter.
The alleged human responsible for creating that hashtag is none other than Julie Golob, world shooting champion and author of the book “Shooting While Pregnant.” No, really.
So Ms. Watts is retweeting some vulgar responses to her one tweet.
Oh, this is such a winning strategy.
And this tweet by Katie Pavlich gave the onslaught some legs:
NRA supporters, I have some advice for you. If you want to appear to be female-friendly, don’t call a woman a “Bitch”, a “cunt”, “twat’ or tell her she needs to “get back in the kitchen.”
Include “bimbo” to the list of things not to call a woman.
Ms. Watts isn’t too worried about the vicious attack.

I’ve been blocked from her page, Everytown and just about every other anti-gun gun page just for having a differing opinion. I’ve been courteous and never have gotten rude or stooped to name calling and insults. I have tried to have reasonable debates with factual data, but these people and group’s want none of this. These people are hypocrites, they block any opposition and want a echo chamber for sheep to flock in while they spout half truths and misinformation.
So for her to brag that she got banned from a pro gun site like it’s this horrible unthinkable evil done only to her when her and her crew do the same is nothing but a double standard and pure hypocrisy.

So every time gun control lovers respond to “sensible discussion about guns” by saying that men are compensating for small penises, that’s somehow not sexist? Hmm, seems like a double-standard to me but that’s what liberals are all about…YOU follow THEIR rules, THEY don’t follow THEIR rules.

The fundamental difference between me and you and your ilk is that when I took off my weapon, I was still the very same person I was before I put it on.

You should check into the cases where armed citizens prevented crimes. Follow the NRA’s publications and you might actually learn something. Being a retired cop who carried a gun doesn’t mean you’re not an ignoramus.

Smoking deaths: 159,000. So lets do a full out right ban on all cigarettes. Why isn’t there any “smoking sense?”
Drunk Driving Deaths: 10,000. So lets ban cars and alcohol. Why isn’t there any “alcohol sense?”
Car Accident deaths: 35,000. Why are cars designed to go over the speed
limit? Why are these death traps designed to hold up 8+ more people?
If we limit cars to holding 2 people, deaths would go down? Why isn’t
there any “car sense?”
Death by Malpractice: 100,000 to 200,00 and
maybe 400,000. So lets ban Doctors, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, etc?
Lets limit people visits to the doctor and hospitals. This would
decrease the deaths.
Firearm related deaths are not even in the top

This is just one of many reasons Moms Demand Action is a joke, and should be considered such. Oh well, if you can spin it, you can win it. That seems to be the strategy that MDA brass are operating under.
