Jon Huntsman Claims Jeb Bush Evokes GOP Nostalgia
Joe Scarborough claims that the Republican Party has grown up since 2012. Often considered the only sane one in the 2012 Republican clown car , former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman (UT-R) was asked to give Jeb some sound advice.
Hunstsman says the party needs problem solvers, and that Jeb is one. With Obama we got “new new” Huntsman and Scarborough agreed, and we now want “old old.”
Scarborough then explained the strategy of Ted Cruz, another potential candidate:
The panel included former Obama Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs and WaPo columnist, Chris Cillizza, both skeptical that an establishment candidate could win in a party that’s moved far-right.
Huntsman joked about his own failed candidacy: “If I new anything about how these campaigns are to be run, I wouldn’t be sitting with you right now… Getting in early is way to his advantage, doing Iowa, you don’t have to win in Iowa, but you have to get in the top 4.. You GOTTA PLAY IOWA, that’s a mistake people have made in the past.”

I think the whole nostalgia thing is an excellent idea, GOP – “Old Old”. Has a ring to it, like the truth. Meanwhile the other 80% have moved on along with our lives, challenges and votes. Time to jump on the Cormnibus or be run over by it. Right Mr. Cruz?
