Oath Keepers Are Patrolling Ferguson, Say They’re Prepared To Use Lethal Force

First it was the Ku Klux Klan trying to fan the flames in Ferguson, Missouri and now members of the Oath Keepers are patrolling the streets of the embattled town on the heels of the Grand Jury opting to not indict the police officer who gunned down an unarmed black teenager.

For right wingers who insist that it’s the protesters who are violent, there are forces at play who are trying to provoke the town consisting of a largely black population.

So far, there are 10 members of the militia-type group in Ferguson and the group is seeking more volunteers and they say they are prepared to use “lethal force.”

On the group’s website, it states, “Calling all skilled veterans and patriots!”

Sky News reports:

The group’s leader, who gave his name only as Sam, wore military fatigues while carrying a pistol and a custom-made, semi-automatic rifle fitted with a silencer.

He said his group was ready to use lethal force to protect premises from arsonists.

Sam said: “The people of Ferguson have learned a sad and difficult lesson, that there aren’t enough police and National Guard to help police all the homes and businesses.

“When you see a militarised police force and angry citizens who choose to be violent it becomes a very volatile and dangerous situation.”

The Raw Story reports:

An Oath Keeper and St. Louis County police officer assigned to Ferguson was suspended in late August, less than two weeks after Brown’s slaying, after video surfaced of him describing himself as a Christian and killer.

“If you don’t want to get killed, don’t show up in front of me — it’s that simple,” said Officer Dan Page in the 2012 video recorded at an Oath Keepers event. “I’m into diversity — I kill everybody. I don’t care.”

Promising to use lethal force did not work too well for the KKK. Hello Anonymous, can you hear me?

    You are way off base on who the Oath Keepers are. Nice try taking different articles and quotes and rewording them to fit your far left agenda and make them look like a racist organization. They are out there protecting businesses that can’t afford to hire security so they don’t get looted and burnt out…for FREE because police and national guard aren’t! Black and Asian owned businesses. Dont even compare them to the KKK you moron. You are what’s wring with journalism! Fuel the racial fire some more asshole!

        That’s the thing, nobody needs to ask….you shouldn’t have to wait for youe neighbor to ask for help before you help. The business owners have been asking for police and national guard help and have got NONE and nothing but the run around. and if the business owners told the Oath Keepers to go im sure they would. But from what I hear the owners of the businesses they are guarding are quite grateful they’re there. They are in no means out there acting as agressors, they are out there to protect innocents from having their lives destroyed. Regardless of color or political affiliation.

    A little reminder that Oath Keepers were among those who showed up to help Cliven Bundy chase away BLM employees doing their federally mandated job in Nevada.
