Georgia Republican Secretary Of State’s Voter Info Website Is Down On Election Day
If you’re in Georgia and looking for the closest polling place, too bad for you. The state’s “My Voter Page” went offline sometime Tuesday morning and the site is still down.
However, the website Find Your F*cking Polling Place is operable.
Some users reported they could get the site’s splash page to load, but when they entered their information, they were told that no match could be found in their county for their information.
The Georgia Senate race between Republican David Perdue and Democrat Michelle Nunn is one of the most hotly contested in the nation. Georgia Republicans have seen their significant polling advantages erode steadily over the last year.
Democratic State Senator Jason Carter — grandson of former President Jimmy Carter — is also in a statistical dead heat for the governor’s office against Republican incumbent Gov. Nathan Deal.
Republican Sec. of State Brian Kemp’s office maintains the website. Kemp stated earlier this year that the job of Republicans is to block the Democratic Party’s efforts to organize and mobilize black and Latino voters into a viable voting bloc.
“Democrats are working hard, and all these stories about them, you know, registering all these minority voters that are out there and others that are sitting on the sidelines,” Kemp told supporters in July, “if they can do that, they can win these elections in November.”
Kemp’s office Tweeted a phone number for voters to use in order to try and locate their polling places. But of course, you’d have to be a Twitter user to know that. And you’d also have to be following his Twitter account, which would likely make you a Republican. That information will not be widely known in Democratic circles.
When 40,000 voter registrations magically disappeared from the state’s database recently, Georgia State Minority leader Stacey Abrams, whose New Georgia project spearheaded the voter registration drive said, “We asked the Secretary of State to meet with us. We wanted to understand if we were doing something wrong, or if there was another database we didn’t have access to. But he refused to meet with us.”
Of course he did.

People who hate government are completely incompetent at running the government.
Why does this surprise anyone?
Remember the brouhaha over the rollout of healthcare.gov? So where is the outrage over a government website not being available on the date that most people are likely to need it. Not just to obtain a service, but in order to exercise a fundamental constitutional right.
Will there be hearings, and investigations? Or are broken government websites denying services to thousands of people, a problem only when Democrats can be blamed? Just asking….
and that question is directed towards the so-called (actually non-existent) liberal media, as much as anyone.

^^^ A Thousand Likes! Big surprise isn’t it? The real shock is that the story doesn’t include Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia, New Hampshire, Maine. Colorado, Louisiana, and more. The cheaters are slipping.

A lot of it hinges on how much was spent on the website and who developed it. If a site like that one were to go down, today would actually be the day, as this is when it would get the most traffic. (Still should have been tested.)

Vote provisionally, if the race is close those votes will be verified and counted. Individuals have a week to prove they are eligible. 40,000 wins races

How convenient! If I were given to lefty paranoia, I would be accusing the GA. Sec’y of State be fired for his role in doing one more thing to rig the election for his party. But, how convenient that technology did it for him (wink wink).

This is fraud, pure & simple. When the majorty party is UNWILLING to discuss or even fix the known issues, which disenfranchise their citizens, then this is fraud and needs to be investigated.
Problem is, even if investigated & proven, no re-election is bound to happen & the fraudsters know this. Get caught, so what, mission accomplished.

This is fraud, pure & simple. When the majorty party is UNWILLING to discuss or even fix the known issues, which disenfranchise their citizens, then this is fraud and needs to be investigated.

When was it down? I checked this morning to confirm my polling place and it worked. I checked around 1 p.m. for my mother to confirm her polling place and it worked. And, I just checked it again, a few minutes ago, after reading this article and it was still working just fine.
