An honest politician, I feel like I should speak in a British accent in low tones about finding one in the wild.

Democrats should of made raising minimum wage the number one issue this election cycle. It would be getting more peoples to the polls and that is when democrats win. It’s not entirely to late though, we can still make a last big push on raising minimum wage to get people to the polls to vote. Vote for a raise for the poorest among us. It is time to get more people participating in a healthy economy. Vote for a raise.

my state looks like they are going to debate the issue LOL as if there was something to debate ?

It really is a no-brainer at this point.
Knowing that a fair amount according to inflation would be closer to $22/hr, it seems $10.10/hr isn’t too much to ask for… on the federal level.
Kudos to the states who are doin it on their own, sister!

its probably the countries we sold our jobs to that made us the 3rd lowest. Ever see the movie[ trading places] mr. perez ?
“I mean, we suck,” Perez said. “We really do.”
couldn’t have said it better myself

A great reason to vote Democrat!
We would’ve had bills passed that helped prevent outsourcing of jobs, if Republicans hadn’t blocked exactly that legislation… more than once.
