Gas Prices Headed To Below $3 A Gallon
Click here for reuse options!“This is not your garden variety autumn swoon in gasoline prices,” chief oil analyst Tom Kloza said in a statement. “We’re shocked by the velocity with which crude oil prices have come down.”
Some states already are seeing average gas prices below $3 a gallon, mostly in the South and Midwest.
Most of the rest of the country is likely to see prices below that price point soon.

Always seems to happen in the run-up to an election.

I’ll take it anytime it happens.

The winter blends of gasoline are cheaper to make and the price of oil is dropping because war hasn’t stopped the flow of oil, and the oil producers can’t coordinate to do price fixing and production controls. The world has gotten less dependent on the middle east for oil.

Damn you for making me go to EIA.Gov and plot the Jun/Dec charts for election and non-election years.

Careful now, spouting facts could cause some folk’s heads to explode.

Isn’t this attributable to the Bakken Shale formation and increased US oil production? If so we’re paying for that cheap gas with our drinking water and air.
$3.89 in Columbia.

I am sure that is a contributing factor.

He’s such a powerful POTUS that he was doing it decades before he was even elected Senator.

$2.81 this morning outside Kauffman stadium – home of the future World Series champions, the Kansas City Royals.

If it’s KC vs STL, who will Joe Buck root for? Neither team has a pitcher with blonde wavy hair.
Carla Akins October 15th, 2014 at 10:31
FInnegan’s kinda pretty and he has the wavy hair thing – it would need to be bleached though. At least once a week some old guy sends a letter to the KC Star to complain about the players looking like hobo bums with their scruffy facial hair – even now. Cracks me up.
StoneyCurtisll October 15th, 2014 at 13:32
I just paid 2.82 a gallon on the way home from work~!
8.8 gallons for 25 bucks.
Thanks Obama~..;)
