Amanda Bynes Says Microchip In Her Brain Made Her Tweet Bad Things
Actress Amanda Bynes has been placed on 5150 psychiatric hold and a recent tweet reveals in part, why she might be on a 72-hour hold. Bynes’ claim that a microchip implanted in her brain made her tweet bad things about her father and that message sent out on Twitter could be key evidence in keeping the actress in a mental facility, according to experts.
But then she disavowed responsibility for the accusations in a tweet a short time later: “My dad never did any of those things The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he’s the one that ordered them to microchip me.”

To hold Bynes under California’s “5150” law, they must convince a mental health referee that she is “a danger to self, to others or is gravely disabled
The actress has quite a history, including a DUI charge last month. Her arrest report noted a “disheveled appearance.”
While in New York she was accused of shoplifting but was let go after signing a “no-trespass agreement.”
In 2012, Bynes was charged with a hit-and-run, hospitalized for treatment last year after a psychological evaluation and put on probation after a DUI earlier this year.
She was also arrested after allegedly tossing drug paraphernalia out of her New York apartment window in May 2013.
WGHP reports, “This is the second time Bynes has been placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold. The previous instance came in July 2013 after she was “involved in a disturbance in a residential neighborhood” in Thousand Oaks, California. She eventually entered an inpatient psychiatric facility and was later released into her parents’ custody.”

I can relate, that microchip in my head is always making me think about crazy things. I swear it keeps telling me I can make a difference in saving the planet from humans bent on destroying the planet. I knows it’s not true but I can’t help myself, I have to keep trying.

Mine has a glitch. It keeps saying I can anything I like and will continue to keep my girlish figure. Of course, it also told me the Hobby Lobby suit had no merit and there was a snowballs chance in hell that SCOTUS would rule in their favor. Yes, I’m still pissed.

Definitely glitchy, wouldn’t let you type the word ‘eat’ but lets you keep on eating living in delusion.

damn proofreading your own post. never works.

Stop picking on the Hobby Lobby. They do good work
Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 20:37
At least I bet it’s effective.

You are probably OK, as long as “We Are The World” is not playing in the background.
mmaynard119 October 14th, 2014 at 10:05
Considering who you have to work with, that chip might be the only thing saving you, Mark.

My heart goes out to this young woman and her parents. finding the right meds is a tough job even when the afflicted is aware and in agreement with the diagnosis. Then remaining on the meds is another whole battle. She is lucky she has loving, supportive engaged parents and I wish her only the best.

I don’t know, it sounds like there is more going on than meets the eye. A fresh start away from everybody is in order. There is a problem somewhere, it is hidden and she is trying to cope with it.

Very well said Carla..
Mental Illness is nothing to laugh at..
I have seen more than one person close to me lose control and take their own life..
The effects are devastating to family and friends..

I agree, but point out that the meds treat the symptoms and this young lady needs help getting to whatever underlying issues have gotten her to this place.
It is cruel to ridicule someone who is at such a point in their life. It matters not that the person is a celebrity. I think we can presume that the family has been struggling with things beyond what has leaked to the public.
Part of the good news is she is able to afford treatment and to get help from the better medical providers. We have American citizens who are poor or homeless who need the same sort of help the Bynes woman needs, but they are not getting it.

I suspect mental disease is the underlying issue, unfortunately. The right balance of meds is probably her best hope. The problem is finding that balance – and even then her chemistry can completely change with no reason or warning and then search will have to begin anew. (Well known pattern for a close family member of mine with similar problems, at least she doesn’t have the added burden of fame)
Completely agree with the rest of your post.
I wish her and her family peace and good health.

She needs to call Glenn Beck right away, and make a tin foil hat to guard against any more commands to her brain from the CIA

the candle is a nice touch…
Have you seen this yet? Weird Al’s song “Foil”:

All of the videos from the album are fabulous.
M D Reese October 14th, 2014 at 20:14
I actually pre-ordered the CD. and I rarely buy any anymore.
William October 14th, 2014 at 07:49
Very cool. Weird Al just keeps getting better
M D Reese October 14th, 2014 at 20:14
He really does. I often like his versions better than the originals. I made Weird Al one of my Pandora stations and I put them on shuffle–it’s fun to have him pop up periodically.

In all seriousness it sounds like coping mechanisms are kicking in from being abused and she needs to be separated from her family and friends and needs to start over. She needs a clean slate without manipulators surrounding her trying to tap into the wealth she can generate.
M D Reese October 13th, 2014 at 19:44
…Or she might just be going through her Justin Bieber/Lindsay Lohan phase.
Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 20:42
After the meltdown where she started a fire in her parents drive, they had her held. The court made them her conservator and she spent several months inpatient. Affer she balanced out, she regained her freedom and was released from her parents conservatorship. Once on her own, she felt fine and stopped taking her meds – not a new story just unfortunate.
tracey marie October 13th, 2014 at 20:35
Without her microchip accusation I would agree. She seems to have a mental illness, probably schizophrenia. I hope she gets the help she needs, as well as keeping her family away. They, the family seem to be her trigger.
burqa October 13th, 2014 at 20:38
Interesting points, mea_mark. Something wrong is certainly going on in the young lady’s head and I hope she gets the help she needs.

You know how you don’t realize how much a fan you are or how much you like the actress/actor until you come across some unsettling news about them. My heart goes out to Amanda Baines.
