Kansas Woman Catches Boyfriend Cheating, Shoots Him In The Groin
After a Kansas woman walked in on her boyfriend having sex with another woman early Tuesday morning, she vowed to go home and get a gun, according to police.
The woman returned to the house and shot her boyfriend in the groin as he sat in a lawn chair in the front yard of a Wichita house at about 2:15 a.m.
The suspect went looking for her boyfriend at a house he was remodeling and found him there with another woman, who left after the girlfriend departed.
When the woman returned an hour or so later, the victim was talking to two other men. She approached her boyfriend and pulled the trigger, but the handgun malfunctioned.
When she cleared the gun mechanism, the woman fired again, Espinoza said.
“She walked right up on him,” Espinoza said. “I think there was some disbelief that that was going to happen.”
She was booked on suspicion of aggravated battery but not attempted murder, Espinoza said, because she fired one shot and she aimed specifically at the groin.
According to the paper, the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office will determine if any charges will be filed in the case. Seriously. What’s to determine? She shot him. In. the. groin.

Seeing as how there are major arteries right near the groin, this guy could have easily bled to death. The charge should have been attempted murder.
