2-Year-Old Shot In The Head In What’s Described As An ‘Accident’

A two-year-old child was reportedly struck by gunfire inside a Delaware residence on Tuesday morning, according to police.

According to CBS Phily, the shooting happened at about 10:00 a.m. in a home at the Valley Run Apartments in Claymont, Delaware. Yahoo reports that the child was shot in the head and says the incident appears to be the result of a ‘”terrible accident.”

Police responded to the home after being alerted to a two-year-old with a gunshot wound.

The child was transported to a children’s hospital and his or her condition is unknown at this time.

Because America is becoming so  desensitized to this sort of shooting, no other information is available.

This is a gun safe:

This is a very inexpensive trigger lock, which can also be obtained from many police departments at no cost.

This is a happy baby who was not shot in the head.

Any questions?

This is not an accident, period. An accident is when every precaution is taken and something bad happens, no precautions were taken. Charge the adults, it is about time for all these gun people to take personal responsibility for their inaction concerning safety and the deaths it cause

You would honestly think that one or two of these stories would scare the living shit out parents and they would keep their firearms under lock and key. Since they aren’t, should they even be a gun owner?

They should not, they have proved they are neither intelligent or responsible

They need to be held responsible. If there was no means to prevent the accident; they would have a case. However, there has always being ways to prevent such accidents. Therefore. they need to be held liable.

“…the incident appears to be the result of a ”terrible accident.”, no, sorry it was anything but an accident. There should be jail time for whomever shot that baby.

Thank’s NRA for proving, again, and again, and again, that a home with a gun is a safe home! The children of our country salute you, at least the ones who survive gunshot wounds!

As with the recent story of the baby being shot by hunters from across the street my only comment is that the injured was not a fetus so in the eyes of the Right “no harm no foul”.
