Col. David Hunt: ‘No Troops On The Ground Is A Lie’

Posted by | September 30, 2014 09:56 | Filed under: Politics Radio Interviews Top Stories War & Peace

Special ops are on the ground. They likely wear boots. They can also be targets. Col David Hunt, with 29 years experience in intel, counterintel and security knows what’s really going on and how we are being misled, once again, as we participate in what is, in spite of the administration refusing to use the word, a war.

What? Obama lied about no boots on the ground? Next you’ll tell me He’s going to close guantanimo and if I like my insurance I can keep my insurance

    • arc99 September 30th, 2014 at 10:49

Guantanomo would be closed if not for the obstruction of Congressional Republicans. But don’t let facts get in the way. Obama-haters never do.

Oh and I did keep my insurance, and my physician. Having health insurance is a wonderful thing and should be made available to as many people as possible. One day maybe right wingers will learn that.

Be fair, now. The haven’t had an ACA repeal vote for some time now! That’s progress, of a sort.

But you have to take in the fact they have only worked 9 days in a few months.

          • tiredoftea September 30th, 2014 at 13:57

Good point! That used to meant 18 or so votes to repeal the ACA, that’s progress!

            • Suzanne McFly September 30th, 2014 at 14:07

I agree, we need to see the progress when it is there, otherwise we will just be angry people who play victims at every whim, kind of like the repubs do. :)

Yes, they can waste the taxpayer’s time with the repeal stunts, but I like to think of it as good theater without the ads and previews.

did you like your insurance? did you keep it?
if not was the insurance really helpful? for the price?
do you know people who actually was not able to keep there insurance?
and if so, why did the company (not the Government) cancel it?

I hope the dear colonel isn’t giving away any military secrets about what we are doing and endangering our troops by giving away military strategy. I think maybe he needs to shut his mouth or someone needs to do it for him.

“with 29 years experience in intel, counterintel and security knows”

well with 29 year you would think he would know knot to shoot his mouth off!
Unless he is suppose to give off mis-Intel. but being retired would make that seem un-likely.

Don’t we usually leave the intel reporting of where and when the boots on the ground land to CNN?

By definition, isn’t all classified information a “lie” at least of omission. Anyway, if you follow the link to the FOX story, you will find this crank spewing the usual right wing hysteria about the murderer in Oklahoma who beheaded someone.

Dark skinned Muslim murderers are always terrorists.

White Christian murderers are never terrorists.

So pardon me if ignore what Col. Hunt has to say. I can get that kind of garbage from trolls at this site.
