I find it strange that Carson has shown a desire to run for POTUS in 2016 while saying that there might not be a 2016 election. If he really believes that ‘anarchy’ will prevent a 2016 election, he wouldn’t be considering running in 2016.

The reason Dr. Ben Carson is not taken seriously by (most of) the American public is that he has no substance. The only thing he can do is make ridiculous and cataclysmic statements and then not provide any evidence or proof to back them up. Examples include:
–There’s so much anarchy going on that there might not be a 2016 election.
–The Affordable Care Act “is the worst thing that has happened to this country since slavery”.
–“By believing we are the product of random acts, we eliminate morality and the basis of ethical behavior”.
–Regarding the recent Veterans’ Administration scandal: “I think what’s happening with the Veterans is a gift from God to show us what happens when you take layers and layers of bureaucracy and place them between the patients and its healthcare provider.”
Until he provides some constructive solutions to the problems of this nation, he is just another contestant in the Republican Presidential Pageant. Right now, he’s a PeeWee Leaguer trying to make it on the roster of the Los Angeles Angels.

Dr Carson has you right where he wants you. Most of what he says sounds like it comes from someone who can barely tie his own shoes, and not from an accomplished surgeon. But Carson knows his audience, he knows what gets attention and he knows what pays. Like any good snake oil salesman, he’s found a lucrative market, and he’ll work it as long as he can.

balance the budget.

Thanks Chuck. May I include only one more (even though there’s alot more) Refuses to produce his original birth certificate. I gave President Obama the benefit of the doubt, time and time again. The Birth Certificate, Bill Ayers, Rev Wright……over and over I wanted to believe what he was saying. I loved his speeches about change and how to be a better America……..But its like an abusive relationship. You stay because you believe in that person. You overlook his flaws. You ignore his actions and want to believe his words. I WAS DUPED! SHAME ON ME FOR NOT LOOKING AT HIS ACTIONS!!! I do have to say thank you for this website – I did have a realization that I will consider and read more about. Its in regard to separation of church and state……I’m not sure now. Before I thought it was extremely important to have Godly men leading this country, until I realized that Islam is in the White House. This is not Christianity. supporting family (which I was registered to for 20 years) you, should not be simply voting for a party but, instead ideals, morals, record or what ever you hold near and dear. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal , that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness .

I agree completely with you. But for me to cast my vote In the primaries for Ben Carson, I need to be registered as Republican. And now that I’m older and wiser, the GOP’s beliefs are what I value. I believe in freedom, pro-life, limited government, free press, right to bare arms, free speech, the Constitution, Founding Father’s courage, human potential, personal responsibility – these values are what created the most powerful country in the world. Innovation – creativity – capitalism – ingenuity – dreams never dreamed before – that’s the America that I love and want. Look at the socialistic countries in the European Union – they’re dying! Only capitalism is keeping them afloat. I embrace Ben Carson’s comments about limited terms and special interests groups, etc. Shoot – I could go on all day. I grew up in the south. I have pity on poor people, pity on black people who are not advancing, pity on people who weren’t getting ahead and I thought our government should be involved more and help these people. But as I got older, I began to seeing that the help was not helping. Families are looking to the government to take care of their problems when it should be the family themselves. We are enabling. Michael Brown, under the influence, strong armed robbed a grocery store owner. Video shows him (6’4 gentle giant) push and threaten the store owner. Minutes later, altercations happen between him and the police and liberals are screaming racism and injustice. When video is posted on news showing Brown’s actions/robbery, the community says that the media is trying to smear his name. The community destroyed this man’s store for releasing the video which he has every right to do. They do not have the right to destroy his story. Where is the common sense in all of this. This gentle giant was a danger to society and deserved to die if he was charging at the police officer. Or if the officer felt that his life was threatened. That was not “gentle giant”. And our Attorney General, who is suppose to represent blind justice, a man is innocent until proven guilty, sides with the community who jumped on the “white policeman kills black boy”. That discord flared up and was promoted by our government and media. What other false information is going to have communities rise up? Ben Carson’s comments makes absolute sense.
