#LatteSalute: Conservatives Freak Out Over President Obama’s Black Coffee Salute
Conservatives are freaking out (and even openly weeping) over a White House Instagram video that shows President Obama saluting a U.S. Marine on his way down the steps of Marine One…with a latté in his hand!
Actually, “latté” and “coffee cup salute” are just stuff idiot conservatives made up, the president doesn’t even drink coffee. Like all good Irishmen, he’s a tea drinker. Apparently, according to The Daily Caller, a Marine Corps manual says you should “not salute when… carrying articles with both hands or being otherwise so occupied as to make saluting impractical.”

Probably had much more important things on his mind, no? The Repugs would bitch if they were hung with a new rope! Wish they were as worried about getting some legislation passed. Wasn’t Ike the last military president we had Eisenhower….who was brainwashed with military protocol? Time to vote these anal-retentive people out of office!

it definitely is a mormon and not a musim rule. I was noting that some tealiban person would likely believe it if you told them Muslims can’t drink caffeine. Tea is huge in the middle east. In Morocco they actually drink it hot to cool off, which makes sense if you think about it.
