Security Guard Ignores Instigator And Maces Random Black Guy
Raymond Wilford, 25, told The Stranger he came to Seattle’s Westlake Mall to meet some friends, and attempted to avoid the shirtless man on his way in because he “heard him say a bunch of racial stuff.” According to a police report, the man then “started a fight” with Wilford, which witnesses say didn’t come to blows.
A photo set from Alex Garland, a freelance photographer, documents the incident in part. The shirtless guy—whose name isn’t known—is seen looking angry, getting into the faces of several protesters and assuming what looks like a “ready-to-fight stance,” legs apart, fists up. It’s clear that the man and Wilford get into an altercation of some kind, and when the guard steps in, he seems to ignore the shirtless man in favor of blasting Wilford with mace.

Another case whereas the overseer oops sorry officer become the judge and jury based on his specious perceptions of threat. Here’s a fun fact, Washington State has one of the highest concentrations of white supremacy in the nation. This kind of behavior is a lot more common than you would think.

Another case of aggression against my gene-kin, the old rallying cry of keep the bull in it’s place. Suppress him and his thought till he sees nothing but the walls of oppression and learns to love them.

I’m sick of this kind of brutality by law enforcement in this country. The cop should be reprimanded and fired for this crap….

Gee, you learn something new every day. I’ve been to Westlake lots of times, but no one ever told me it was private property and I couldn’t go there.
Also I see that one “protects and serves” by denying people needed medical attention. How come I never knew all this stuff before?

Security guard claimed that Wilford took ” … an aggressive step toward me …”
In other words, walking while being black.

It’s hard to “let him do his job” when he isn’t doing it right to begin with.
Somebody needs to sit those cops down and run through some basic lessons with them:
1. Don’t be a douchebag… do your job right and don’t assume the random black guy is the problem.
2. Shopping malls tend not to be considered “private property” that’s off limits to civilians.
