Alaskans Cold To Palin
Click here for reuse options!Just 36 percent said they have a favorable view of Palin and 55 percent do not, a poll released Tuesday from the left-leaning Public Policy Polling showed.
Only 20 percent of Alaska voters would like to see the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee launch a bid for the White House herself and nearly three-quarters of respondents said Palin should remain out of the race — roughly equal to the results of a May PPP poll surveying voters on a Palin 2016 bid.
Among other potential Republican contenders for 2016, Palin comes in sixth with 11 percent. She’s behind Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who received 16 percent, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul with 15 percent, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 14 percent, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who both received 12 percent.
