There is no way of yet knowing how much oil is truly beneath those 68 million acres, just as there is no way of knowing exactly how much oil is beneath the small tract of land at ANWR that gives conservatives rushes of ecstasy when they fantasize about it. I’m amazed when Americans such as yourself are so quick to defend the kind, benevolent oil companies and their good-hearted, financially struggling executives who, in spite of their increasing salaries, while gas prices skyrocket, have the well-being of the average motorist deep in their hearts.
