Poll: Most Say Obamacare Working
The CNN poll released Wednesday found that 18 percent of respondents said they or their family had benefited from the health care law, while an additional 35 percent said while they may not be better off, the lives of others have improved.
Forty-four percent say no one has benefited from Obamacare.
That means that 44% of the respondents to this poll have no idea about the millions of Americans who now have health care who didn’t prior to the Affordable Care Act.

53% thank the Dems for HC improvements vs a declining 44% of naysayers cheering for sore losers. The ACA ended preexisting exclusions, lifetime care caps, adding HC portability between jobs and now covers 24 M to 29 M via HC.Gov & state exchanges, while reducing federal deficits $1.5 T per CBO. In NY HC premiums fell 50% to 70% without any subsidy. Covered totals here. http://acasignups.net/

A Forbes “OPINION” dated 5/10/2014 was long ago debunked by 10M+ more HC insured today than in 2013. VINDICATION: KFF Study: 57% of EXCHANGE QHPs were Previously Uninsured

1. The now-infamous “McKinsey Study” which claimed that only 27% of individual market enrollees since the start of Open Enrollment were “previously uninsured”? http://acasignups.net/14/06/19/vindication-kff-study-57-exchange-qhps-were-previously-uninsured

I guess you can just search until you find an answer you like as there seems to be a lot of misinformation out there.
“A survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation found that approximately 57 percent of Obamacare signups were uninsured prior to the implementation of Obamacare.”
“Of that number, seven of 10 said they got insurance because of the law, while the remainder said they were planning on getting coverage anyways. Despite the increase in the coverage, critics say this number fails to prove that Obamacare is achieving its goal of truly covering the uninsured.”
“The Obama administration has failed to produce ACA enrollment numbers since the end of March, and it’s difficult to know exactly how many enrollees were previously uninsured. According to President Obama, as of March 31, eight million people had signed up under Obamacare.”
“According to reports from the Daily Signal, that number is a bit deceptive. The eight million signups included those who had insurance prior to Obamacare. In some cases, they switched over voluntarily.”
“In other cases, they switched over by force because their existing plans were canceled for failing to fit with Obamacare’s new guidelines for health insurance policy.”

The ACA isn’t going away. 24 Million to 29 million covered by the ACA HC exchanges first 3 months proves why you can more accurately present yourself as “Always Wrong” the debunked devotee parroting errant uninformed fools.

There is a lot of misinformation out there and it is coming from critics of the ACA who started with fairy tales about death panels and the law being passed in the middle of the night. The Senate vote occurred at 7am Christmas eve.
Every time one lie is revealed, the critics simply move the goal posts and rally around a new talking point. No one is signing up they claimed. Oops, people were signing up. Okay, okay they are signing up but most are not paying their premiums. Wrong again, premiums are being paid. The latest talking point is that the number of previously uninsured is low. Of course there is absolutely no mention of the states where Republicans control the government and have resolutely refused Medicaid expansion which is a key factor in enrolling uninsured people.
it is the height of dishonesty to criticize the ACA for not covering enough uninsured people when Republicans are actively sabotaging the primary mechanism for providing coverage. even Republican Gov. Kasich of Ohio recognizes that providing the coverage is the right thing to do.
So yeah, there is lots of misinformation on the internet and I would suggest that the most obvious example would be that the failure to cover previously uninsured people is the fault of the ACA, instead of the Republicans who are actively working to prevent people from obtaining coverage.

Meanwhile, Kasich and Snyder are struggling to make sure healthcare benefits are available for more than 820,000 people who live below the poverty line in their states – 474,000 in Ohio and 350,000 in Michigan, according to state estimates.
But the prospects for coverage in 2014 are slipping. Ohio lawmakers nixed Kasich’s Medicaid expansion proposal from the new state budget. Snyder says a decision for Michigan needs to come within the next few weeks, but the state’s Senate Republican leader, Randy Richardville, has said lawmakers will spend the summer reviewing the issue.

GOP runs away from Ted Cruz, instead of ACA successes: “uninsured drops from 20.5% to 15.8%.”-Rand’s preliminary from April: Net gain of +9.3 million in the number of American adults with health insurance coverage from September 2013 to mid-March 2014.
A net gain in coverage of approximately 9.3 million. This represents a drop in the share of the population that is uninsured from 20.5 percent to 15.8 percent.
The 9.3 million person increase in insurance is driven not only by enrollment in marketplace plans, but also by gains in employer-sponsored insurance (ESI) and Medicaid. http://www.rand.org/blog/2014/04/survey-estimates-net-gain-of-9-3-million-american-adults.html

When the right says a majority of Americans oppose Obama care,I wonder who is being polled, since 80% of Americans already have healthcare insurance. So is it the majority of the rest of the 20% who are uninsured who oppose the ACA? CNN did a poll last May,that found 54% opposed Obama care, while 43%% supported it. But,out of those 54% who opposed it when asked why,16% of those who opposed did so because it didn’t do enough. I’ve never noticed another poll asking why you opposed Obama care. Seems to me that might give American’s a better idea of the popularity/unpopularity of Obama care.

The people they poll are the idiots who think the ACA and Obamacare are two different healthcare options.

I bet there were some republicans sweating bullets when the DC circuit court’s decision was first announced. They may never admit they like the ACA but they don’t want to lose that subsidy.
