Are Your Naked Selfies Being Passed Around By The NSA?
In a new revelation, Edward Snowden is alleging that members of the spy agency routinely passed around naked photos that had been “intercepted.”
In an interview with The Guardian, former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden revealed that government analysts would routinely pass around sexually explicit photos they st stumbled across.
In the course of the interview, building on the massive leak of NSA documents that he made public, Snowden made the startling claim that a culture exists within the NSA in which, during surveillance, nude photographs picked up of people in “sexually compromising” situations are routinely passed around:
Now in the course of their daily work, they stumble across something that is completely unrelated to their work in any sense. For example, an intimate nude photo of someone in a sexually compromising situation, but they’re extremely attractive.
So what do they do? They turn around and they show their coworker. And their coworker says ‘Oh hey, that’s great. Show it to Bill down the way.’ And then Bill sends it to George, George sends it to Tom, and sooner or later this person’s whole life has been seen by all of these other people.
The allegations are distinct, though not dissimilar, to something NSA official have already admitted is a problem: Analysts spying on their love interests. According to NSA officials such situations are relatively rare. But they are common enough to have a name: LOVEINT.
We think COITUSTELPRO has a better ring to it.

Russia’s Edward Snowden has a habit of exaggerating and making many unsubstantiated claims. NSA’s congressional oversight and audits every 6 months indicated about 300 instances of a very few Analysts spying on their ex’es and love interests. Such situations are relatively rare.

I wonder if Snowden started the #JadaPose hashtag.

When I worked telemarketing as a college student, we would occasionally get the hilarious answering machine greeting. We’d pass those cards around so that others could call and hear it.

I made an answering machine message when I lived in Florida. One day I got home from work and there were tons of messages, more than normal. I started listening and it was people laughing. I got to one and he said, “Sorry, I was just passing this around at the office.”

See? People being people. I can totally see humans at the NSA “admiring” a sexy pose. And I would bet, based on nothing more than knowledge of humans, that the sexy but “Oh god they really shouldn’t have” poses got passed around even more.

Oh those! Those were probably my naked pics. I get that reaction often, “She really shouldn’t have.”

Fortunately, there was a strategically placed staple in the one I saw.

I had this one. The department secretary got it one day, was offended and I had another “talk” with the Chief.

IF I took naked selfies, and IF the NSA was passing them around, it could disable the entire agency.
