Raymond Moody wrote the groundbreaking Life After Life in 1974, which has since sold approximately 20 million copies. He coined the term “near-death experience.” In part one of this radio interview, he tells me about how he views this phenomenon years after his initial work, and what led him to it in the first place.

I have to disagree. Moody is a brilliant philosopher and physician whose work has greatly helped people.

The placebo effect is powerful and there is no evidence of anything he claims. Delusion is independent of intelligence.
It’s a good living appealing to the ignorant and desperate with materials disguised as truth and steeped in false hope.
He is no different than a religious charlatan if he is not self deluded.
