Satire: History’s Mysteries – Did Churchill ‘Foretell’ Ted Cruz?

It was no great shock that after receiving so much publicity for his “spot-on” impression of the late British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) would do something koo-koo loony and dash out for a “Churchill Tattoo” which he premiered on this morning’s (Apr. 1) edition of “Fox and Friends.”

Sen. Cruz hinted that the nature of the date, being “April Fool’s Day”, may have had something less to do with the fact that he was invited to appear on the program and more to do with whether or not it was a permanent tat.

However, could this be the proof of a mystery that has haunted historians since the end of World War II?

A picture of the Prime Minister taken at the Potsdam Conference toward the end of WWII in 1945 always displayed what many folks believed was a birthmark on Churchill’s right forearm.

With modern “photo shop” technology, it is now — for the first time — revealed that the “birthmark” might have been a tattoo.

Judge for yourself.

Are our eyes deceiving us, or did the famous leader of the British Empire, the force who guided that great nation through the darkest hours of WWII have a “Ted Cruz” tattoo just below his wrist? And if so, what would this mean? Was Churchill telling us that this man, this great man of wisdom, from Deepinahearta, Texas, would someday rise to national prominence to lead us to a greater day of glory as Restored America?

And why do no other photos of Sir Winston show this odd apparition on his arm?

Our sources say Parliament is considering the exhumation of Churchill from his final resting place to “take a gander,” as our British cousins say, at the mysterious mark.
