U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is focusing on the crisis in Ukraine, but he may want to direct some of that attention to Israel.  A new poll has revealed 66% of Israeli Jews and 53% of Israeli Arabs do not trust Kerry with Israel’s security.  Kerry is currently working on his framework for future talks in the Middle East which he plans to announce sometime next month.  The poll conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute and Tel Aviv University also found 60% of Israelis believe Kerry’s personal interest in making history is motivating his framework agreement. While he may be losing popularity in Israel, last week’s Gallup poll found Kerry’s favorability in the U.S. has risen seven points since September. 55% of Americans now have a favorable view of their Secretary of State.
