Leaping Lizards! Alex Jones’s Epic Obama-Hating Rant

While the message of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Tea Party Republicans inches closer and closer, his delivery remains unique. While some may describe both as reptiles, Jones decided to also look the part by donning a lizard mask to rant about Obamacare and ended up expressing every form of Obama hatred imaginable.

Particularly in the 2nd half of this bizarre performance, Jones seems liberated by the mask and unleashed such a hateful and crazed explanation of the evils of Obamacare that it’s easy to imagine Ted Cruz feverishly taking notes for his next pseudo filibuster. What is really different here is that Jones’ guard seems down with his face covered when he expands beyond Health Care to show the deep seething hatred of the President currently consuming the Right.

Included in the segment, Jones incoherently discussed such topics as fluoridated water, Hitler and Stalin. Later, Jones (or the Lizard Person) welcomed “Obamacare” into the studio — a guy in a skeleton mask and white “Obamacare” t-shirt who asks Lizard Jones, “How are your herpes? How is your hernia? How is your homosexuality? I am watching you.”

While it would be easy to dismiss Jones as an isolated radio crackpot, it’s important to remember that millions hinge on his every word and seem to believe whatever he says. More worrysome, the extreme elements of the Republican Party already have a history of joining forces with the Infowars founder. So while his insane primal screaming may seem beyond the pale now, it’s not to unreasonable to think that what we hear out of Jones mouth today could very well soon be echoed at Tea Party rallies across the country and on the floor of the Congress.
