GOP freakout over ‘repeal and replace’ caught on tape!
You can practically smell the flop sweat:
The recording of a closed-door meeting on Thursday revealed GOP lawmakers’ concern about moving forward with a quick repeal. “We’d better be sure that we’re prepared to live with the market we’ve created [with repeal],” said California Rep. Tom McClintock. “That’s going to be called Trumpcare. Republicans will own that lock, stock and barrel, and we’ll be judged in the election less than two years away.”

Rep. John Faso (R-N.Y.), a freshman congressman from the Hudson Valley, also warned strongly against using the repeal of the ACA to also defund Planned Parenthood. “We are just walking into a gigantic political trap if we go down this path of sticking Planned Parenthood in the health insurance bill,” he said. “If you want to do it somewhere else, I have no problem, but I think we are creating a political minefield for ourselves — House and Senate.”

“The fact is, we cannot repeal Obamacare through reconciliation,” said McClintock. “We need to understand exactly, what does that reconciliation market look like? And I haven’t heard the answer yet.”

Rep. Tom MacArthur (R-N.J.) also worried that the plans under GOP consideration could eviscerate coverage for the roughly 20 million Americans now covered through state and federal marketplaces and the law’s Medicaid expansion: “We’re telling those people that we’re not going to pull the rug out from under them, and if we do this too fast, we are in fact going to pull the rug out from under them.”
Well, no kidding.

hell, his fantastic plan for bringing ALL the troops home is to deploy more troops to the Philippines and pump more money into “updating” the facilities already there. That’s going to take a lot of money -his supporters need to cough up more and more to pay for that kind of FREE SPENDING, or they’ll bust the piggy bank before March 1st.

If I were China, I’d be courting Mexico with some really nice trade and combined Military agreements. It could be a boon for the entire Central and South American markets and give the Chinese Troops guarding the Panama Canal some really nice R&R centers when they’re on leave. ~and~
watch the expert wall builders put up the wall trumpland is going to build. (waste of money in the 21st century if you ask me, but, sigh, their COWARD COMMANDER PONME probably thinks it’s gonna be protection?).

All the Repulsives care about is maintaining a stranglehold on America by winning elections. They have no plans for replacing the ACA and don’t want one. They don’t care if 20M people are cut off from healthcare as long as they have theirs and their millionaire and billionaire buddies get their tax cuts. What more proof do we need that the 7 years of anti-ACA hysteria was first class load of BS?
If the policy was such a disaster then why is the GOP worried? Why would there be any political fallout from ending a program that makes life a living hell for the people enrolled in that government program?
The fact is the ACA did what it was designed to do. Millions of people now have health insurance that they previously could not obtain. All the right wing talk radio spin in the world will not cover up the fact that now GOP leadership has to come to grips with the reality that their bullsh*t does not hold up under the scrutiny of cold hard facts.
