Government ethics director loses contact with Trump team
Trump is brushing them off.
Click here for reuse options!Trump’s transition team brushed off contact with the Office of Government Ethics and was warned about not looking to the office for guidance over it’s announced Cabinet picks.
The office’s director, Walter Shaub, noted in several emails that they couldn’t seem to get in contact with anyone within the Trump circle and explained that they could be setting themselves up for embarrassment by not conferring with the ethics office over its nominees.

And yet the a-hole tried to take credit for the reversal of the bad decision the GOP Congress members made to close or weaken the independent Office of Government Ethics. It was the informed and educated public’s outcry and lighting up of the Congressional switchboard that made the difference.
Meanwhile the Vladimir Trump team continue on with no ethics or honesty whatsoever.

Trump doesn’t need the ethics office because he’s not going to nominate anyone. If he nominates them, they might get rejected.
