Michael Reagan worried about Trump’s safety: ‘There are more’ crazies now than when my dad was shot
Former President Ronald Reagan’s son, Michael, tweeted Thursday he is concerned over President-elect Donald Trump’s safety. President Reagan was shot and seriously wounded March 30, 1981, as he exited the Washington Hilton Hotel in the nation’s capital. The gunman, John Hinckley Jr., thought he could impress actress Jodie Foster with the action. He was sentenced to…

My greatest concern is about the damage this clown is going to do to this country.
Ray gun’s old man destroyed the middle class. What’s next?

The survivors.

Well, isn’t that nice. Was he as concerned about our black president, who was the object of so much racial hatred, openly targeted by the likes of DT fanning the flames? There are mountains of documented instances where GOPers call to THEIR crazies with suggestions of 2nd amendment solutions, bulls eyes on maps, etc. The disrespect and delegitimization of this president happened within days, the yelling of “LIAR” by a Senator at a State of the Union. I still can’t get over that. What is wrong with you GOP people? It was the start of acting like this was normal and ok behavior. Senator Wilson should have been thrown out on his ear, and been taken down by everyone around him. Every senator there should have been appalled and censuring. Did they? NO. There is no moral equivalence here, Michael Reagan. Your father was shot by one lone crazy for personal reasons, not political, and not inspired by calls for assassination. Those calls and dog whistles have been made unendingly for Barack Obama by YOUR side. Once again, you created this. Now you’ve ensconced a ToddlerTweeterRacistPussyGrabbing psycho into the WH, and you’re worried about him. O M G.

But unlike your snow, our future won’t thaw in the spring.

When is Trump going to put his Yellow Tweeting in the snow ?
Clementine January 6th, 2017 at 11:03
He can only “yellow snow tweet” in small lower case letters. The sorry logistics of tiny hands trying to find and point that 1/4 inch Trumpett.

That is a beautiful photo. I was admiring your work on the open page earlier.
Next year that will be known as the pre-nuclear winter winter. :-(

Thanks for that.

And most of the crazies are trump supporters.
William January 6th, 2017 at 08:57
I think he will more likely “Elvis” himself out of this world in the middle of the night via a Trump-tweeter-tantrum, and a Trump tower taco bowl. (Say it fast three times) https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/c177514ffd9bed1313d17e1e0232d054d4402e16ba8d2f67398ea90d5959f3f1.jpg

And then he picks more of them to fill his administration.
The Original Just Me January 6th, 2017 at 10:00
That looks like Trump’s opinion in the United States.

I told him on Twitter to rest his little brain, the nuts are on his side.
Clementine January 6th, 2017 at 11:07
Strange how they don’t get that. They live in Opposite World on so many subjects.
mistlesuede January 6th, 2017 at 11:35
Good job!
oldfart January 6th, 2017 at 11:14
Don’t worry Michael, there are plenty more totally incompetent republicans
standing in line to replace him.
Worry about your country and the people in it.
Foundryman January 6th, 2017 at 12:03
Those nuts voted for him Michael!!!
The last thing any American should be concerned about is whether Trump gets targeted or not.
fahvel January 6th, 2017 at 12:05
who else is concerned for it’s safety?
Bunya January 6th, 2017 at 14:40
“My greatest concern is for the safety of President Donald Trum.I am CONCERNED for his life..My father was shot by crazy, there are more now.”
.
1) we have more to fear from a tRump presidency than the other way around.
2) unfortunately, your father survived the attack.
3) It’s a well-known fact that Michael Reagan is an idiot.
Elliot J. Stamler January 6th, 2017 at 20:52
This is one of your absolutely depicable and typical vile comments. I don’t agree with Michael Reagan 90% of the time and I certainly think Trump will be a disaster in the White House but for you to write that it is unfortunate Ronald Reagan wasn’t murdered is appalling.
That written and you, a despicable punk, being dismissed I will write that in the unique case of Trump, if he proceeds to right roughshod over the constitution I think it quite possible there will be many assassination attempts against him — especially when it finally dawns on enough people that Donald Trump is totally unlike ANY other president we have ever had and in very bad and dangerous ways.
