Trump on Obama: ‘We are never going to be going against each other’

Posted by | December 29, 2016 09:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

That’s odd, given the things Trump has been tweeting.

“Our staffs have been getting along very well, and I’m getting along very well with him,” he said, “other than a couple of statements that I responded to and we talked about it and smiled about it and nobody is ever going to know because we are never going to be going against each other.”

Behind the theater is bubbling frustration for many involved…

Trump is frustrated with how Obama has poked him, by claiming in a podcast interview with former adviser David Axelrod that he could have beaten Trump had he been eligible to run again. (The president made that claim as part of an insistence that his kind of positive, hopeful campaign would have resonated with Americans, despite what Trump successfully tapped into.)

Trump was also irritated by Obama’s comments at Pearl Harbor on Tuesday afternoon in which he said, “even when hatred burns hottest, even when the tug of tribalism is at its most primal, we must resist the urge to turn inward. We must resist the urge to demonize those who are different.” These felt to Trump like direct criticism of the president-elect, according to two people close to Trump.

Obama administration aides deny that the president was talking about Trump. And the White House is pointedly not responding to Trump’s tweets.

well, Trump v. Obama…Trump was never able to best PBO…and never will…In any contest, on any subject, DTrump is far inferior to PBO…Trump is an inferior white person, with a low intelligence quotient…Trump’s DNA, is on par with a common sponge, just like his fellow nazi sponges….I am far superior to Trump, and his family…far far superior…and yet, I don’t brag about it….

He is so inferior he couldn’t run against PO in 2012 because although he wanted to, he knew he would lose, bigly.
Interesting that PO and Hillary Clinton are the most admired again (Hillary for like the 15th time) and yet she is not President. Well, actually she had the most votes.

Republicans bitched about everything President Obama did for eight years, and now are fully committed to supporting a bankrupt sex offender. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/724572138885e4d04efc3c4f9dee7f58f5cb1b8c794c877142266d71ed68c16a.png

This is a good example of why his handlers won’t let him have a news conference or any type of interview. He doesn’t say what they want him to when he goes off script.

Shows why they are spending so much time demonizing the media too. It will be much easier to claim how it misquotes everything he says so why bother having any on record Q and A.

Then again, you can’t take his words literally…

How pathetic is it that PO has to be the grown-up that he always is and had to call this juvenile a-hole yesterday to try to get him in line again for the good of the COUNTRY?

Mr. Obama is too kind to the piece of sht who will replace him in the WH. Trump does not deserve the boring political politeness that seems to exist even between enemies.

In a head to head battle between Obama and an orange quivering mass of small-handed ambulatory pus, my money’s on the big O.
