Republican congressman wants CIA director investigated
Add Peter King to those siding with Russia over our own intelligence.
Click here for reuse options!King, a Republican of New York, questioned recent leaks from the intelligence community about whether the Russians used hacking to influence the American elections in Donald Trump’s favor.
‘We have supposedly [CIA Director] John Brennan leaking information to The Washington Post, to a biased newspaper like The New York Times — findings and conclusions that he’s not telling the [House] Intelligence Committee,’ said King, a former chairman and current member of the House Intelligence Committee, to ABC News’ Martha Raddatz on ‘This Week.’
…’There should be an investigation of what the Russians did, but also John Brennan and the hit job he seems to be orchestrating against the president-elect,’ King told Raddatz.
‘I’m not saying it didn’t happen,’ King added of the supposed hacking.
‘I’m just saying we’ve been given no evidence on it, when we have these stories mysteriously appearing in the newspaper.’

If there’s one thing that the GOP will not tolerate, it’s a politically-incriminating leak to the media.

I remember Valerie Plame.

But no investigation into the actions of the FBI director?
Shove it up your a$$, right wing hypocrite…

Well they did of course. Don’t you recall when Comey was summoned to the hallowed halls of do-nothing land and scolded and berated for NOT finding anything criminally complacent in the 11th hour e-mail “SCANDAL”?

Someday perhaps, people will grow tired of having their lives ruled over by some of the dumbest people that can be found. They actually pay this guy around 180,000 dollars a year…

“I’m just saying we’ve been given no evidence on it, when we have these stories mysteriously appearing in the newspaper.”..
Suddenly republicans are interested in “evidence”. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/c375ea256872bace0e375520294d97b952f506e5ff3fb0fd65f15e8b21db6b46.jpg

There’s something about congressmen named King…

Unrelated, but hysterical. Check out the latest posts. There is some emotional gun lover responding to a two year old story. Alan is certainly more popular than I thought.

It’s like the site is on the NRA’s “Troll This Site” list. Cuz they seem to come out in force whenever there is a gun-related post. This guy is just really really slow apparently.

I have absolutely no problem with a complete investigation into the cyber security failures of the past 8 years. There have been many, many, breaches and to my knowledge, little or nothing was done them…….

“I have absolutely no problem with a complete investigation into the cyber security failures”
Just eight years?
Really?
My aren’t you the benevolent one so interested in equal justice and investigating the last eight years. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/1a8366f7b477879e8222bf025c48f6e4d8d1d64722dc3fecc72916af512fa5de.jpg

I see, so rather than focus on our cyber security and the breaches of that security by hostile foreign actors, something that’s been actively going on for the past 8 years….
You’d rather go back to the Bush administration and conduct a domestic investigation….
You’re not really interested in investigating the supposed Russian hacking, or Chinese hacking, or Iranian hacking…
You look to focus on your domestic political opposition, and attack.
It’s pretty clear…

Um Skippy …YOU are the one who put the eight year limit in there, not me. You wrote :”I have absolutely no problem with a complete investigation into the cyber security failures of the past 8 years.”.
Freudian slip which clearly indicates you are interested in the occupier of the White House for the last eight years.
It might have been a lot easier if you had just posted “yeah, I think we need to investigate the black guy”. You are by your own admission completely uninterested in the ln 2 million e-mails that vanished under President Cheney and his pet squirrel Georges administration. You remember those guys? The ones who invaded the wrong country over WMD’s that didn’t exist after 3000 Americans died on 911? No need to investigate that stuff huh? No security breaches there.
Besides your fearless Leader Cheeto-Hitler says the Russians didn’t hack anything. …and really, who are you going to believe? Seventeen agencies well versed in cyber security, or a guy who bankrupt a casino?

Let’s see. The GOP first investigated HRC and found nothing, the FBI admitted there was nothing, so the next recourse is to investigate the CIA. If they get nothing from the CIA, who’s next to be investigated? I suggest Brazil. I never liked that country.
