President Obama addressed Russian hacking of our election  during his final news conference.

During a meeting on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in China, Obama said he insisted President Vladimir Putin “cut it out” and told him “there were going to be serious consequences if he didn’t.”

“In fact we did not see further tampering of the election process,” Obama said at a year-end news conference. “But the leaks through WikiLeaks had already occurred.”

He unleashed a string of putdowns, describing America’s Cold War adversary as “a smaller country, they are a weaker country. Their economy doesn’t produce anything anyone wants to buy except oil and gas and arms. They don’t innovate.”

Obama attacked Republicans for siding with an arch-enemy of the United States because of their dislike of Democrats.
“Ronald Reagan would roll over in his grave,” Obama said of recent GOP praise of Russia.

    We have to live with tRump as president and your response to Putin in interfering is ‘you got to cut it out’, really? What a way to roll over and concede defeat.

    I guess this means it’s going to be up to us, the people, if we don’t like what is happening. It sure looks like we are losing support at the highest levels of government for a decent government.

      you don’t know what he’s going to do. or what he has in play. the one thing we’ve learned through all of this, as that the GOP and the FBI have been compromised. i’m sure there’s something planned and we’ll see it before too long. the one thing that was needed was for the FBI to admit that putin interfered. we got that.

        I thought about that. He really seemed tired at the press conference, like a frustrated baby sitter about to gome because his job was over and it was very late. I think he is giving up and saying I tried but you people are just too immature. He can’t solve all the world’s problems, especially when we keep creating new ones all the time. We are a young species and we are shitting and pissing in our pants all the time, polluting our environment because we don’t know what we should really be doing. We are messy children, that is really all there is to it. Hopefully, someday we will grow up as a species and become adults in this universe we call home.

    What the Republicans admire, and even envy, about the former Soviet apparatchiks turned oligarchs, is that they are able to hold onto power and exercise it mercilessly, despite the fact that they cling to an outdated, minority fringe philosophy that has failed miserably to represent and provide for its people. It should be obvious they are meant for each other.

        He doesn’t have to ‘tell’ anyone about his plans, he just appears, at times, to sit back and accept things. I think he could be more aggessive in his actions sometimes.

    When was the group 20 summit, and where exactly?

    It was held on 4–5 September 2016 in the city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

    Obama goes on tho say…

    Ummm…. the leaks thru Wikileaks went out on a regular basis right up to the election that was held on Nov 8….
