Huffington now selling sleep

Arianna Huffington has moved on to her latest self-reinvention.

…she is trying to change people’s notions of sleep. The sleep she is talking about is aided, she believes, by products that she is selling. Ms. Huffington — a biographer of Maria Callas and Pablo Picasso in the 1980s, a syndicated newspaper columnist in the 1990s, a onetime candidate for governor of California and a founder of The Huffington Post — has reinvented herself again, as a “sleep evangelist” and retailer.

This dovetails with her latest book, “The Sleep Revolution: Transforming Your Life, One Night at a Time,” and a company she recently started, Thrive Global. The company’s website has articles about sleep and wellness and a shopping section for sleep- and wellness-related products, like silk sleep masks and Arianna Huffington’s Travel Essentials Kit. For six weeks, through Jan. 15, she is running a Thrive Global pop-up store on Broome Street in SoHo…

She was asked if she missed The Huffington Post, which she left in August to focus on Thrive Global. “I’m so engaged in this,” she said. “The only difference I would have made was modest and incremental.”

As for Mr. Trump’s tweets about her, she said, “Oh, that was so long ago.”

“I practice what I’m preaching here,” she said. “To relive every offensive thing — if you’re still holding on to that, you’re missing the point of life.”

      She’s kind of–eerie, or something….maybe very nice…I don’t know…

Very nice?! Weren’t you at Huffpost when she sold it? There was nothing remotely nice in the way they treated the community of commenters.

No. I never even read it much…maybe twice..what did she do?

It was by far the best community of commenters on the nets. Built along the years, several groups of very close friends, interesting, lively exchanges, good subjects to chat about. We made Huffpost such an attractive investment she sold well. Broke the news of change lying to us about the conditions to stay, swindled us actually. There was brave resistance at first, followed by the inevitable diaspora– the huffpost refugees :)–. all scattered now.

Oh! So sorry….I felt the same way when Gretawire went to hell. Alan’s place is good. Stay here. The Hill.com is okay. There’s lots of these places–a dime a dozen. Come to Breitbart sometimes…

The best way to leave Greta wire or fox news is to tell your followers It was a contract thing

I’m starting to think a 3rd grader could have taken over and no one would have known it
