Terrorism expert Malcolm Nance details ‘massive’ and ‘deliberate’ Russian effort to elect Trump

MSNBC terrorism expert Malcolm Nance talked to Chris Matthews about what he calls “Watergate 2.0.”

…it’s been very, very well documented over the last three to four months that Russia has — and we’ve always known this because as you said a little earlier, people running around chasing the KGB and the Soviet Union. The country may have changed its political leadership, but they have not changed their propaganda and intelligence operations machinery. And they applied every aspect of that against this U.S. election including highly detailed propaganda organizations and using their state organ Sputnik, Russia Today, and paid trolls who operated — The New York Times identified them operating out of St. Petersburg, the trolls of Alinka who created thousands of pro-Trump organizations and Twitter feeds and Facebook feeds and spread propaganda on a massive scale.

…the process was so deliberate, an organizational operation like this would have taken hundreds of operators who would have had to have watched carefully the machinery of the United States on a minute-to-minute basis with regards to hacking and leaking the information in the way that they did. To do that that means that they were — and obviously they only favored one candidate, and that candidate was elected.

Umm…It was pretty obvious then, to anyone with half a brain….Putin is our enemy…period…the Russians have been waiting, watching, and planning for an opening in our armor…trump gave them that opening…now we are really going to pay for our lack of vigilance…Our Democracy is being slowly pried from our hands…by the Putin faction in our congress…

We need to elect the rightful winner of the election. The people of California and New York voted for Hillary, and not by a little, but a lot. At least 1 million more Californians, and 1 million more New Yorkers voted for Hillary. She really won the election, if you think about it. I don’t care what Florida, or Michigan, or Ohio, or Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin voters want. Their votes don’t matter. The electoral college is a joke. I don’t care what Georgia, or Texas, or any other state’s voters think. I want what’s best for the country, and I know better than anyone. I’m not from some rural, redneck, backwater trailer park. I live by the beach, I only drink bottled water, and I make more money than the Joe six pack clowns who don’t even know how to pronounce Merlot. The Russians rigged this election, that’s obvious. There’s no way Trump won. It’s time to take our county back, and Hillary’s ready. She’s more qualified than Bill and Barack combined, she’s almost as qualified as Michelle, I mean, if we don’t get Hillary in the White House, it could be the end of the world, literally….

Do you really want Donald Trump to have the nuclear button???

      No.
Would you also be interested in contributing towards
the recount efforts for Jill Stein ? ;)

        I already have.

        • oldfart November 30th, 2016 at 10:47

And I am sure it was a generous amount too…

      • trees November 30th, 2016 at 10:37

You do realize that Hillary would’ve won, if Jill hadn’t run…

        Right?

        • oldfart November 30th, 2016 at 10:45

Only you, would like to think that.

The FBI has files and solid evidence linking Russia to hacking the DNC. That alone is reason to further look into the possibility of some type of election rigging. Anyone who thinks there should be no investigation into this is simply a partisan hack. They don’t want to know the truth because it would show their guy didn’t win legitimately.

If Hillary had won with this type of suspicion and doubt, we don’t have to guess the reaction from Trump and company.

  4. Foundryman November 30th, 2016 at 10:39

The fact is, Trump should be the first one and loudest one calling for an investigation. Why wouldn’t he want to nip this in the bud? His reaction so far shows he’s hiding something.

      You haven’t been paying attention.

Trump is saying the election results are wrong.

Question, “If Jill Stein is concerned about the accuracy of the voting process, how come she isn’t asking for recounts in states that Hillary won by a thin margin?”

Shouldn’t we examine those states as well?

      • Foundryman November 30th, 2016 at 11:01

I agree with him. the electoral college vote should be delayed and a 50 state recount is definitely in order.

      • oldfart November 30th, 2016 at 11:14

Every last one of them if need be.
        I’m in no hurry.
