Sen. Graham working on bill to protect Dreamers from Trump
Lindsey Graham and Jeff Flake are working on a way to protect those who have been given immigration relief by President Obama’s executive actions.
Click here for reuse options!One Republican lawmaker and Trump critic is now prepping legislation that would keep those protections in place in case Trump moves forward with his pledge. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has said he is working with both Democrats and Republicans in order to protect immigrants, known as Dreamers, who willingly came forward to give their information in order to receive permits to work legally under Obama’s 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.
According to Politico, Graham stated that something needs to be done to help those who embraced DACA.
“The worst outcome is to repeal the legal status that these kids have,” Graham said Wednesday. “Whether you agree with them having it or not, they’ve come out of the shadows.”

wow…what was that I just read? Lindsey Graham…ahhh…I get it…he is the anti-Trump…the “sane” voice…the “adult in the room”…I wonder just how far he will push it…

hmm….now that you mention it….umm…it was the Gang of Eight…McCain, Flake, Rubio, Graham…from the right…It was Schumer, Bennet, Durbin, and Mandez…on the left…
