Bannon and Trump both believe in genetic superiority
Steve Bannon shares a believe in genetic superiority with his boss.
Click here for reuse options! On Sunday the New York Times published a profile on Bannon, casting him as a “combative populist.” Buried deep within the profile is an account of Bannon talking about his belief in the “genetic superiority” of certain people and his support for restricting voting rights to only property owners…
…Trump has repeatedly connected his success to his “good genes,” as ThinkProgress previously reported. He’s said that his children “don’t need adversity” to build character or skills, because they share his good genetics. In an interview once, he went so far as to compare himself to a “racehorse” and discussing his “breeding” at length.
The belief in the genetic predisposition of qualities like intelligence are a hallmark of white nationalism.

No surprise here, that’s a point so dear to fascists.

If this is an example of genetic superiority, then the wino who hangs around the bus station is superman. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/0c2380a7e7b7d6b4c8f8151604637b8c80e6855707468df6bdb3d37ab6a7785a.jpg

Hmmm, beer gut and a red nose, seems like the superior race has a lot in common in the guys who are at the bar every night at 5pm for happy hour trying to goose the staff.

Where in history have I heard the phrase ” master race “
Suzanne McFly November 28th, 2016 at 16:39
What gene pool are they referring to? They do not resemble the fellow humans I would refer to as superior in our gene pool such as Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., John Kennedy…..

Sue, ya got it wrong – there was caligula and atilla and hannibal and napoleon and hamilton and the entire american southern bureaucracy – all very very smart – smart has no relation to capability – sad though.
Suzanne McFly November 29th, 2016 at 07:26
I would never say all you need is to be smart to be at the top of our gene pool, the people I listed are also able to understand others and do not concern themselves with their own wants. Their is a large group of adjectives to use to describe this group, not just “smart”.

But T. Rump doesn’t like genes. They are too tight and you can’t get a Good Grip. Or is that Jeans ???

His “genetic superiority” but he seems to be physiologically flawed (he is a fat slob)
Gary Parillo November 28th, 2016 at 18:22
Trump connects his success to good genes?I connect his success to being born into wealth, and receiving several million dollars from daddy. Most all,if born into a rich family, will become successful, having nothing to do with heritage.
Buford2k11 November 28th, 2016 at 20:33
you can make fun of the slob all you want…but DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE him…This guy is dangerous, and he is the one with all the flawed genes…Most of Trump’s problems are from his childhood…and his parents…and his lineage…ok, he is inferior…Luck of birth is his only claim to fame…Bannon is just plain mean….Us’n folks of Polish decent, have a genetic fear of Nazis…and a genetic fear of the Ruskies….Geoploliticalgenetics is the fear of living inbetween two major warring factions, and getting killed or thrown in a Gulag…

so did thomas jefferson and a large number of your founding fathers along with hitler. Nothing new here – it’s an old american tale.
bpollen November 29th, 2016 at 05:05
Guess genes – as in “guess he’s a racist just like Daddy.”

Genetic Superiority, Isn’t that the EXACT THOUGHTS of Adolf Hitler ??????
