The Japanese leader looked actually frightened…I am surprised that they agreed to go with tRump to Florida, with tRump prowling around the house late at night.
Hi eyelash! Did you watch the several handshakes in the other article? Besides not leting go the hand he pulls the person to him with a tug. It is the craziest handshake. :)
WAPO is calling protesters “the liberal tea party”. I find it pretty offensive! Politically comparing liberals to the extreme right? Smearing the resistance to a dangerous fascist administration?
In it’s first week, the resistance is already ten times the size the Tparty ever was. Pro trump right wing media will try to demean it as much as possible until they can’t ignore the obvious anymore.
Most haven’t even hit the streets yet.
Gina, do you perhaps have a relative in Florida with the same last name you have on your e-mail account, named Paulo Roberto De(etc.)?
I work with him, is why I ask.
OK. Paulo is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Brazil (and speaks Portugese, which confuses me more than Spanish!), and he’s been a good friend for a dozen years. I just happened to notice your email address while running through the moderation panel…hope I didn’t step on your privacy toes.
Thanks for the answer.
Huh. Thought that would have been English, with all of the borrowed words and weird regional syntax.
But Portuguese DOES make Spanish look kinda easy.
(One thing I’ve noticed;Paulo tends to add an “eh'” sound before some words, mostly nouns…like “The car’s ehstarter is not working; we going to the junk yard to find another ehstarter”…)
It’s allright, though; I can understand him fully after all this time.

Nationwide arrests of undocumented immigrants raise fear of a deportation force in action.
Willys41 February 12th, 2017 at 02:53
So that’s roughly 11,000,000 – 160 = 10,999,840 to go.
(And at 160 arrests per week it’ll only take 132 years to finish the job!)
Gina Bousquet February 12th, 2017 at 08:46
But it’s very effective to spread insecurity and fear among them.
