Clinton now leads by 2 million in popular vote

Posted by | November 23, 2016 09:00 | Filed under: Politics

Hillary Clinton’s vote count keeps increasing.

According to David Wasserman of the Cook Political Report, the Democratic nominee’s total raw vote has risen to 64,223,958 compared to 62,206,395 nationwide.

7,143,347 votes went to third party, write-ins, or independent candidates.

It marks the first time since the 2000 presidential election that the winner of the popular vote lost out based on the electoral college system; then-Vice President Al Gore earned about 500,000 more votes over his Republican rival George W. Bush that year.

2 weeks of manufacturing absentee votes and 1,000,000+ illegal immigrant votes tend to push numbers up.

It is time to do away with the electoral college. That is where the problem lies.
