More conflict of interest: Trump pitching foreign diplomats to use his DC hotel
US Constitution: Article 1, Section 9, Clause 8.
“No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.”
The US President is prohibited from accepting gifts or money from foreign governments. But Trump’s new hotel, just a few blocks from the White House, just held an event last week pitching foreign diplomatic delegations on moving their business to Trump’s hotel…
Even if Trump didn’t want to enrich himself with his office, it would be all but impossible to stop all sorts of people – Americans and foreigners – from trying to ingratiate themselves with the President by staying at his hotel. Or trying to avoid offending him by staying elsewhere. But of course he is trying to enrich himself. It’s there on day one, even before day one. It just comes naturally.

He cannot just say, abbra cadabra my kids are now in charge.
It don’t work that way.
He has to sell off his company. Take whatever money is left after paying hid debts and put it in a blind trust that his kids can control.
And then when he is out of office he can go back into the real estate business.
Otherwise this is going to become a litigation magnet that will cripple this country.

Pric Cheney drew a Full Presidents Wage from Halli-Burton for the first five years He was VP. That was during the time that Cheney also gave Billions of dollars worth of NO-Bid Contracts to Halli-Burton. No Problem for Cheney so why should there be a problem for T Rump ????

Impeach him on day one, or declare him mentally unfit and remove him. Of course we could all just lose faith in our government and let the whole thing collapse. If our government is going to be rotten at the very top and have a cancer spreading throughout all the rest of it’s body, then let it die.

They just saw the election as entertainment, and have already tuned out politics and gone back to watching “Dancing With The Stars” and other stuff serving as bread and circuses.
In four years, they’ll still think the reason they’re not doing well is the Democrats’ fault.
