Trump takes credit for Saving a Ford plant that wasn’t closing
The truth doesn’t matter to Trump and to many of his supporters.
Click here for reuse options!…Trump claimed credit on Thursday night for persuading Ford to keep an automaking plant in Kentucky rather than moving it to Mexico. The only wrinkle: Ford was not actually planning to move the plant.
Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter shortly after 9 p.m. that Ford’s chairman, William Clay Ford Jr., had just told him that Ford “will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky — no Mexico.”
Minutes later, Mr. Trump wrote in a second post: “I worked hard with Bill Ford to keep the Lincoln plant in Kentucky. I owed it to the great State of Kentucky for their confidence in me!” Mr. Trump won 62.5 percent of the state’s popular vote in the presidential election.

Once a lying sh*t-head, always a lying sh*t-head. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ab49ad78f025b16852df272e09da0bda3b3e9ce04f215a34e139a51f4a07dd9e.jpg

pumpkin head has really got this “twitter” thing down to a science.
He admitted in an interview that he used twitter to kill the other 24 clowns in the car.
He uses’s it as a weapon.
The ability to lie on twitter and stir up all kinds of sh!t might turn out to be a very dangerous thing.

His being able to breathe is a dangerous thing.
His use of twitter might help bring about his demise
if the pending fraud trial doesn’t …

Trump’s unfavorable rating is at 55% and he hasn’t even taken office. Hillary has over 1 million more votes. Trump will be the most protested President since Nixon. If you didn’t live through the 1960s, it is similar to that.

I’ve been told I was there in the 60’s…
Don’t remember much of it !
I will only need to repeat what I must have done then for 4 more years.
tRump or no tRump, we’re all going to be put through this.

He tried this during the campaign. Now wait for the credit for Apple opening a plant in the US and GE moving manufacturing back too. This trend started already as the old outsourcing idea is starting to have been a bad choice. Companies are starting to realize that having the makers and designers in the same place leads to better and cheaper products.

Trump is going to try to take credit for a trend already happening. Many manufacturing companies have started to realize that offshoring was short term thinking and bad for the companies. The price of labor in China and India have gone up and the end to end design to production value adds were lost. So they have been coming back, but with more robotics.

How many folks in WV know that one of the reasons that coal jobs have gone down is because the price of natural gas is cheaper?
muffler November 18th, 2016 at 16:08
The people in WV could have tried to change the foundation of their economy in the last 4 decades, but they didn’t. I do understand their plight, but coal is done. It has been done since the 1960s. We don’t really need coal to fuel steel production or many power plants. It’s dirty and a fuel of last resort. The decline of WV was as fast as its emergence. Before the industrial revolution it was a farming economy.

Right to work is not good.

Is anyone surprised that trump lies and takes credit for something that wasn’t going to happen anyway?
