      ummm….yep, I was a coal miner for a long time…There is no such thing as clean coal…there is low-sulfur coal…there is low ash coal…there is Hi BTU coal….but I have never seen clean coal…we will always need coal…that fact cannot be denied…it is essential in many industries…I know, I know, coal is coal…I remind folks that you cannot make American Steel without American Coal…

    Hey Alan,just a suggestion I hope you will consider.How about some articles on the illegal drug war against cannabis,one of the safest most efficient herb for pain&depression on earth.Some articles on the governments desire to make illegal the so far legal herb,kratom,illegal,may also stimulate some good discussions.Why a war on non-addictive herbs,with little to no withdrawal syndromes,and zero records of deaths,while synthetic “FDA approved” poison pills kill upwards of 100,000 per year by some estimates.The one reason this assnine war on plants continues after 70 failed years,is because the public has by and large simply been “conditioned” to accept this insanity,in spite of the fact the scheduling of these gifts of nature makes no sense when evaluated by science and the testimonial of millions of people.Maybe that quaint archaic meme,”we the people” can once again make a comeback with more public discussion.Just a suggestion.
