From Rawstory, a lengthy article about the culture of trolling on the internet, and how widespread and virulent it has become. Thanks to Alan and the ever vigilant mods here, this place is never infested with the kind of ugliness seen so many places now. I don’t frequent most of the places listed, but have seen examples of doxxing and threatening on sites that are generally rational and liberal. It is up to the site management to control bad behavior, but most only want more clicks, and do nothing to monitor very bad behavior.

I’d like to take the open comments opportunity,to put in another post on the DEA plan to ban the safe, medicinal,herb Kratom on Sept. 30 .Millions like myself who are disabled and in chronic pain,have safely and responsibly used this plant tea to alleviate medical conditions.A letter has been sent to DEA from the center for regulatory effectiveness,a dear colleague letter from two congreemen has been sent to congress,and a petition with 120,000 signatures has been sent to the White House,all in an attempt t I o get them to delay or stop this ban.Anyone interested that wants to help can still call congress at 202-224-3121,and ask for their help in this matter.We only have 7 days left to see if the will of the people means anything anymore.
