MSNBC reports that Manafort resigned of his own accord, having seen “the writing on the wall.” The resignation was surely a combination of Trump’s decision to bring Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway on board his campaign, along with the quite public revelations about Manafort acting as a lobbying go-between (i.e. a foreign agent) on behalf of a pro-Putin Ukranian leader.
Another factor may be the news that Manafort is tied to organized violent protests in the Ukraine:
Click here for reuse options!On Wednesday, we learned that Ukrainian authorities have accused Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort of organizing protests against a NATO military exercise in Ukraine on behalf of the pro-Russian Party of Regions.
Now we’re learning about some of the details of that protest and they are not pretty.
Fusion.net talked with Lt. Colonel Tom Doman, who was one of the U.S. soldiers who was in Ukraine to help plan the NATO exercise, dubbed Sea Breeze 2006. When he and 112 of his fellow soldiers were en route to a NATO compound, anti-NATO protesters descended upon their vehicles.
“We had rocks thrown at us,” Doman tells Fusion. “Rocks hit Marines. Buses were rocked back and forth. We were just trying to get to our base.”
This revelation adds some color to a memo that leaked earlier this week that revealed a senior Ukrainian prosecutor is alleging that Manafort in 2006 orchestrated these anti-NATO protests, which eventually forced NATO to cancel military exercises in Ukraine and helped raised the profile of Party of Regions chief Viktor Yanukovych.

I put on my hazmat suit and went over to the Trump Ministry of Information (aka breitbart.com) to see what they had to say about the matter.
First of all, you have to dig to find the story. It is not “above the fold” as they say in the newspaper business. When you finally do find the story and the 3,000+ comments, you see that the talking point for Trump worshipers is that this shows how decisive Trump is and what a great leader he will be, getting rid of people who can no longer contribute.
The fact that there is credible information that Manafort was involved in organizing protests which directly threatened the safety and security of American military personnel is never mentioned.
It just motivates me even more to do my part to make sure these ignorant, lying hypocrites along with their great orange hope are crushed in November

this is a normal evolvement. most conventional campaigns go through 3 or more management teams during the campaigning period. you have the kickoff team, then comes the offense transition that gets you into scoring range. Sometimes, if the game is ‘rigged’ you may have to call in a special team to either punt (places you in hopefully a better field position) or actually score with a field goal. All very normal, every team goes through it at one time or other.
As for the ‘attacks’ on the US Military members – NEVER HAPPENED.
-IF it did though, it would prove that US Forces are totally unprepared for any confrontation because they have been ‘weakened’ by a weak POTUS like Obama. This will never happen under a big brave Leader like COWARD trump, gop candidate for POTUS who refuses to release his CROOKED TAX RETURNS because he already knows what it feels like to have a PURPLE HEART MEDAL like he’s always wanted, and this is after all the great champion of WHITE America who has god created in his image!
