It’s being called a miracle, as parishioners claim they saw a statue of Jesus open its eyes at a Mexican church.

While a church service appears to continue in the background, the effigy then seems to slam its eyes shut in the eerie clip.

While many believe the footage proves the statue in the Chapel of Saltillo came to life, others say it was merely an optical illusion or the video was doctored.

    In the early ’90s there was a “sighting” of Mary at a Catholic church in Northern Kentucky. The church was located on the main road between the northern and southern sections of the county. The police had to set up barricades to keep the curious out of the street so traffic could get by, but the faithful just moved them and caused massive traffic jams for over a week. One night I spent 3 hours getting through a section or road that should take 2 minutes tops.

    I’d go with doctored video. How convenient that the camera just happened to be focused on the face at just the right moment. What bs.

    first off, who in the heck takes a video recording of a sermon? NO ONE that’s who. who in the heck, would not scream out loud in shock or drop the camera for loss of words, oh, yeah a phony set up b.s. artist. whatever

    edit to say: who in the heck takes a video, but NOT of the sermon, but of a statue?
